Scammers are constantly finding new ways to deceive sellers on Fiverr. Here are two recent scams you should watch out for:

1️⃣ The Fake Billing Information Scam

A scammer may send you a screenshot of Fiverr’s Billing Information tab, claiming that your email is required to place an order.

⚠ Do not share your email! Fiverr does not require a seller’s email address to complete a purchase. This is a trick to extract your personal information.

In this scam, a fraudster will send you an invoice containing a QR Code. If you scan the code, it will take you to a fake Fiverr website designed to look like the real one.

On this fraudulent site, you’ll see a message stating that your payment has been received and that you can withdraw funds using Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, or Google Pay by clicking on a "Get Funds" button.

⚠ Do not click on the "Get Funds" button or enter your payment details! The scammers will steal your credit card, PayPal, or Google Pay credentials and hack your account.

✅ Only communicate through Fiverr’s official platform.

✅ Never share your email or payment details with buyers.

✅ Verify all payment notifications directly from your Fiverr dashboard.

✅ If something seems suspicious, report the user to Fiverr immediately.
