Mastering communication: finishing off the order well
You did it! You secured the client, did the amazing work, and now it’s time for you to wow your buyer with your incredible results. At this final stage, great customer service, professionalism, and excellent communication must remain at the forefront to make sure you finish strong and get stellar ratings and reviews.
To wrap up your order successfully, focus on three key phases: the delivery message, revision process, and the final message. Here’s what you should keep in mind:

Delivery message

This message includes a final version of the order for the buyer’s approval. It should include a recap of everything you’ve done, an outline of the revision process, and a reminder that the order will auto-complete in three days. To streamline this process, consider adding a template of the delivery message to your quick response. Lastly, don’t forget to always include some sort of attachment as proof of work to avoid a false delivery.

Revisions

It’s common for buyers to have revision requests upon receiving your initial delivery. When this happens, acknowledge the request swiftly and let them know you’ll work on it. The amount of revisions you complete depends on your original agreement, but always remain patient, positive, and polite. Expressing frustration could lead to a canceled order or a negative review. If your buyer asks for revisions beyond the agreed amount, don’t hesitate to politely remind them of the original terms and propose an additional fee for further edits if necessary. When submitting your revision, always communicate the changes you made based on their feedback. Also, remind them to accept the delivery if satisfied or it will auto-complete in 3 days.

Final message

Once your buyer has accepted the delivery, send a final message to wrap up the order. Start with thanking them for their order and assure them you’ll be around for any of their future needs. Encourage them to leave a public and private review. If you have another gig that might interest them, don’t be afraid to recommend future collaborations. The important thing here is that you’re leaving a lasting impression that will encourage them to work with you again.
Great communication at the end of the order is just as important as the beginning and middle. By sending a well-crafted delivery message, handling revision requests with professionalism, and ending with a friendly final message, you can leave your buyers with a positive buying experience that leads to repeat business and excellent ratings.
