Industry deep dive: Online Media and Streaming
Hey Talented Designers!
Today I want to talk about “Online Media and Streaming”, an industry that became increasingly popular over the past year and in dire need of quality logos. To understand what type of logos those companies need, we first need to understand who they are. So, let's explore:
What is an Online Media Company? An online media company produces content for entertainment or information, and shares this content on digital platforms. They can share their content in the form of a blog, digital publisher, E- learning platform, Youtube channel and live broadcast. The main goal of an online media company is to entertain, inform, or educate an audience. Such companies focus on building an audience and engaging them with interesting and valuable content.
What is the difference between the term “Media” and the term “Streaming”? While media means creating and sharing content, streaming is a way of sending this content for people to watch or listen to in real-time, without needing to download it first.

How to design a perfect Online media and Streaming Business logo?

Popular Keywords: youtube, gaming, music, book, microphone, moon, anime
Logo Elements: When designing a logo for an Online Media and streaming company, the first instinct would be to use graphic elements that have to do with “media” (film, clip board, video camera) and “Streaming” elements. While those logos are great, we have to take into consideration that most media companies out there do not use those elements for their logos. Most logos out there are abstract shapes that represent movement and speed, using clean and simple shapes. Consider using dynamic lines or motion effects to represent the dynamic nature of online media and streaming companies. This can add a sense of movement and engagement to the logo.
Color Pallete: Aim for a vibrant and dynamic color palette to convey creativity and energy. Consider using a mix of bold colors like electric blue, magenta, and a vibrant yellow to represent the diverse nature of digital content.
Font: Choose a modern and sleek font for the business name, representing professionalism and technological relevance.
