I want to share an experience with you all that you might relate to. I discovered this months ago, and it seems like a common issue when promoting gigs. 

When you promote a gig—whether it's a single one or multiple—you'll notice an increase in impressions and clicks. However, it's quite clear that actual orders are rare. 

Here’s what I’ve experienced a couple of times, and I’ve come to think of it as a bit of a pattern. When I promote a gig for just one day, I don’t get any clicks, and then suddenly, the day after the first day of promotion, the number of clicks and impressions skyrockets. In my case, I’ve spent a small amount, like $0.X, promoted for a single day, and then days later, I see over 90 clicks and 3,000+ impressions! 

But here’s the kicker—how can I get 90 clicks and no messages? Not even 0.1% of them reach out to me. If I hadn’t stopped the promotion after the first day, I would’ve ended up paying $45 for absolutely nothing. 

I’ve faced this multiple times. Normally, I get around 20 clicks, but when the numbers increase 4X, and no clients are messaging, it starts to feel like I’m paying for exposure that isn’t converting. 

For sellers, when they reach Level 1, they get the option to promote their gig, and they think it will bring them orders. I’d suggest caution. It doesn’t work that way. Don’t waste your first earned $400 on this. Be careful where your money goes!
