I wanted to share an experience I recently had with Seller Plus and ask if anyone else has faced something similar.

I signed up for Seller Plus for one month to test it out. However, I was unexpectedly charged for three extra months, even when I had no balance in my account. 

Fiverr deducted these fees from my future earnings without notifying me.

To make things worse, I was on a work trip from December 2024 to March 2025, meaning I wasn’t even active on Fiverr during this time. Despite not using any of the Seller Plus benefits, Fiverr still charged me automatically.

I later found this in Fiverr’s Help section:

“If you don’t have enough balance or a saved payment method, a Seller Plus debt will be created on your account. The funds will be charged when you have new earnings that clear.”

This means even if you have no funds, Fiverr keeps charging you, and you automatically “owe” them money until you make sales.

- I have never received an email notification about these charges.

- I didn’t actively approve future charges, I only intended to test it for one month..

This feels like Fiverr is forcing sellers into an unintended debt system.

Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think this is fair? I believe Fiverr should provide clearer notifications and explicit consent for this kind of charge.
