It's great to have a forum where freelancers can support each other and share advice!
 I just started my freelance journey and decided to join Fiverr to find new clients. Unfortunately, they are hard to come by. 

When I signed up about two weeks ago, I created my Gig, and within an hour, I started receiving service requests! I was shocked! But then I 

 realized they were all scams… (I received more than 10 requests in less than an hour! It was too good to be true 😞). 

As of today, I haven't received a single 

 service request, but I keep getting scam messages (about 5 per day). I'm feeling quite discouraged. Is there any way to reduce this? Right now, I'm just reporting and blocking them.
 
How did you get your first real client? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
