Question

Hey everyone! 🎉 Hope you’re having an amazing start to the year!

I have a few questions:

  1. Is it okay to set the 'max orders in queue' to zero on Fiverr?
  2. If I do this, will my gig still show in search results, or will it be hidden?
  3. Would this also mean clients need to message me first before they can place an order?

I’d actually prefer that clients message me first because I’ve had a few situations where someone ordered without reading the description properly, then asked for things I don’t offer, which caused cancellations. Just trying to avoid that happening again.

Would love to hear your thoughts—thanks so much! 😊

Wow, how lucky am I today? Just two hours after asking my question, I got an order for something totally outside the scope of my proofreading gig! 😂 And the best part? I’d already told the buyer in our messages that I don’t work on that kind of text—but he still went ahead and placed the order anyway. So yeah, I had to cancel it.

I’ll definitely subscribe to the Premium Fiverr Seller Plus plan in the future, which has the RTO function, when it’s feasible for me.
