HI there, I got a message from a Fiverr Pro client offering a project. What’s weird is I got the exact same message from another account with a same name the day before. Could this be a scam?

It could be a potential scammer. Do not click any links they sent you. Mention the Fiverr support they'll provide you with the correct response. Fiverr supports are pretty responsive in this regard. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the support.

You're right, a message appeared saying that xxxxx can no longer be contacted. It seems like he was banned.
