Hello @Kesha,

Recently I noticed that the reputation counter in Fiverr Forum doesn’t appear to be functioning correctly (or may have been discontinued entirely, I am not sure). For example, the profile of @filip_fiverr, a new member who has actively contributed to the forum, still shows a reputation score of 0 despite their participation. This issue seems to be affecting all of us.

Could you please forward this to the relevant team for review? I truly appreciate your attention to this matter and thank you for your continued support in keeping the platform running smoothly.

Thanks.

I didn't know that. Has it been officially announced? If so, then why that specific section hasn’t been entirely removed? Or is that just your personal opinion?

Yeah, maybe!

And May I know that how is it affecting 'you' all?

Sorry, that was my mistake. I meant to say that this issue appears not only on Filip’s profile but also on all of our profiles. That’s it.

Though without it working won't it be harder to to which users' posts are more trustworthy/most likely to be accurate?

For the profile mentioned, users can tell from the "Staff" text next to it but for users in general it probably will help users if that stat works I think.

It's harder that's for sure but it was actually stopped on purpose because every single user was misusing that feature like reacting on each comment, typing useless words like Congrats, Thanks, Welcome etc. (even we have emojis for Thanks and Congrats) so that they can become a Grand Master on the Forum.

As for Trustworthy and Correct Answers/Comments, there should be "Vote Up and Down" option in all categories/sections like "Questions" and "Starter Questions" sections have..

I vaguely remember that it was discussed in some topic that Reputation Score won't function anymore but Forum Rank/Badges will keep functioning as usual.. You can check the following topics on Forum Makeover:

In one of those links some people suggest that emojis/reactions shouldn't count towards a score, though I don't see staff saying they'd make nothing count towards the score (such as post or questions selected as correct answer etc.). Maybe you're right and too many people were posting one word posts but they could probably change it to take into account the post length or maybe have staff put some reward on individual posts that increases the reputation score if they see posts they think deserve it (like sometimes was done in the past by the mo'ds).

No one can do this task.. I mean in this era no one has that much time to read and give score to each posts/comments/topics which are good enough to score them..

Actually I feel reactions and posts/commenting are being measured in order to increase Forum Ranks/Badge..

Don't know but I feel this = If you click on your own Reputation Score > Reactions Received and Reactions Given > You'll see those are being counted for Forum Rank..

I haven’t been able to find anything related to this issue so far.

Internet points do weird things to people. I think that people not trying to get as many dopamine hits as possible on the forum will make it a more valuable resource overall.

I completely agree with you.

However, my point was that, if Fiverr no longer wants this feature to function, they could simply remove this specific section. Otherwise, wouldn’t it be fair to consider it as a BUG?

▣ Alright, my apologies once again 🙏. I think this might not be such an important topic to discuss further. Thank you, everyone.
