What I'm suggesting is not only a natural evolution as I see it, but also market-validated space that would seem to only support the likes of Fiverr. 

There have been several attempts at creating a platform where people can 'book time with experts'. During the pandemic, Zoom launched 

 raised $10M only to get acquired by SkillShare. While platforms for such are available, but not as popular, the growth for the software space that supports it suggests that entrepreneurs are using it themselves. The global appointment scheduling software market size is 

 from $470.7 million in 2024 to $1550.8 million in 2032. 

Some people on Fiverr are already selling 

. By making it part of the product, offering, and infrastructure, I think this brings Fiverr into new territory, while created a big value-add for many existing merchants. While many or even most existing vendors may not opt-in to such a thing, that cannot be the reason why it's pushed aside. This is a matter of thinking forward and projecting what could come from it. 

For many, and for me in particular, I never did cross over onto the seller side. I would, however, it there was a meeting scheduler and it was set up like some of the other players in the space, where I can set my expertise and rates and watch my week fill up with meetings without worrying about the deliverables afterwards. It's my mindhsare and expertise that's my biggest asset. And I'm not alone on this. There's a reason so many have tried. They failed because they were never a destination to begin with. With Fiverr, it's already the biggest gig marketplace there is. This has the potential to increase revenue, create new revenue streams, attract new sellers, raise brand awareness, increase investor confidence and more! 

The key featurees that need to be added are: 

Appointment Scheduling & maintaining a calandar. (they need to pick the meeting like it is on calendly) 

Integrated merchant services so that there's a refund if the vendor doesn't show, but a 15% fee for any no show by the client which is split 50/50 between the vendor and Fiverr. 

1:1 and also 1:Many. You want the ability for people to potentiall create classes where many can join at a cheaper rate. Give vendors the option and ability to offer both. 

We're already seeing yoga instructures take part but there's no one leaning in. I wonder if that makes the Fiverr team think there's no need but that's not the case. Not many are taking part, because there's no support for it. For consultants, coaches, and teachers, they use other platforms that manage their whole calendar and take care of everything from the booking to the cancellations and re-books. That simply doesn't exist here. 

I'm sure I'm not the first to suggest this and certainly won't be the last. Superpeer is sadly sunsetting 12/31/24. They weren't the first nor last either. The only player that fits is Fiverr and so we wait and see. :)
