I've been entirely alone in this "breaking free from the 9-5 rat race"

My parents don't understand...
My friends could care less...

Quote

"Oh that money in your account-that's a scam"

That is what my parents told me. Even when they had proof right Infront of their eyes.

- Was I heartbroken?
- Was I Shocked?
- Was I Sad?

Nope, Not really...

But what happened after that?

I got bought a macbook and as you'd expect...
My parents had that shocked face going on for them...

They didn't utter a single word.

All I got was...

Quote

"Oh nice!"
"Congrats!"
"Guess you weren't lying after all!"

But surely and soon enough.

They started to respect me more.
My opinions carried weight.

Heck they'd even listen to me more carefully.

I wouldn't blame them really-if my kid came up to me one day with money in his account, I'd be in dis-belief as well...

- All that work .
- All that hardwork.
- All that dedication.

Was starting to pay off...

What can you learn from all this?

Simple...
Nobody cares...

They'll only care if you carry value.
Carry value that they don't have.
Something they'd find Intriguing.

Hopefully your parents do, Cause mine didn't at first.

You have to prove to yourself.

That you're capable.
That you can do it.

That you can bear that teary-full nights.
The nights where you're going to be powerless.

And completely physically and mentally drained.
And the nights where you want to quit.

Listen to me...
DON'T.

You do not want the pain of regret.
You will regret it in the future.

When you're old, weak and powerless.
Telling yourself "Wish I fought through it"
"Wish I could set-up a good future for my family"

That is the point of no return.

I don't care if nobody reads this...
For those who do read this...

I hope I opened your eyes or at-least gave you something to think about...

Until next time...

(its 3:32 am right now, as I'm up writing this...)
