Ask the Community

I am writing this after Fiverr chose to block my previous post from receiving any further reviews or comments. This action is not only unacceptable but demonstrates a deliberate attempt to silence me and prevent me from sharing the full extent of their failures. Instead of addressing my legitimate concerns, Fiverr has opted to suppress them, which is a disgraceful way to treat a customer. This behavior further highlights their lack of accountability and their unwillingness to engage in fair and professional resolution processes. 

The issue began when I contacted Fiverr support to regain access to my other account. I cannot recall the email address associated with the account and no longer have access to the mobile number linked to it. I went through Fiverr’s verification process, during which one advisor asked me my security question. They assured me I had passed verification and informed me they could update the email address on the account. I provided the new email address, expecting the matter to be resolved. 

After waiting for confirmation that the email had been updated, I followed up, only for a new advisor to take over and completely reverse the decision. This advisor claimed I had not passed any verification and rudely dismissed my concerns, asking me, “What do you want us to do?” Their attitude and refusal to assist not only contradicted the assurances given by their colleague but also undermined the progress that had been made. 

This demonstrates that Fiverr does not value the work their colleagues do or function effectively as a team. By ignoring and contradicting their own staff’s actions, Fiverr highlights a systemic failure within their customer support process. This lack of cohesion and accountability not only affects customers like me but also reflects a broader issue of incompetence and disregard for professionalism. 

When I requested clarification about why the previous advisor’s decision was reversed, I was met with silence and resistance. I also asked for guidance on how to raise a formal complaint and submitted additional questions related to my issue. Instead of answering any of these questions or providing clarity, Fiverr support continued to stonewall me, refusing to engage in any meaningful dialogue. Their behavior has been obstructive, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful, placing unnecessary barriers in the way of resolving my issue. 

To make matters worse, Fiverr then blocked my original post, preventing me from replying to comments or engaging with others who might have had similar experiences. This act of censorship further demonstrates that Fiverr is aware they have mishandled this matter and are attempting to hide their failures. Such actions are not only unprofessional but also raise serious concerns about their commitment to customer service and transparency. 

Let me make it abundantly clear: under UK law, I am entitled to: 
1. Raise a formal complaint. 
2. Have my complaint addressed in a fair, reasonable, and transparent manner. 
3. Receive clear and satisfactory answers to my questions. 

Fiverr’s support team has failed on every single count, and their conduct has been nothing short of appalling. This experience has caused me significant stress and wasted a considerable amount of my time, eroding any trust I had in Fiverr as a platform.
