This is something I've noticed:

The term "secretarial service" yields 963 results, while the term "virtual assistance" brings up 29,000+ results.

I would look into secretarial services and see if there's a demand for it.

You can do this by looking at the amount of reviews the top gigs have and how often reviews are posted (more consistent reviews is a good sign, while less consistent reviews could say that the service itself has less demand).

Do research as much as you can as a buyer who would be looking for someone like you till you find a gap and that "ahh uh moment". Hope that makes sense.

Good luck!

Thank you for your input! I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

My goal was to position myself as a secretary, leveraging my front office (hospitality) background. It seems the market is heavily saturated with virtual assistance gigs, making it difficult to distinguish secretarial services.

I'm also curious about your thoughts on my new Fiverr gig cover.

This is my gig description

I can comment on the gig image. It's too busy in my opinion. Always remember that your gig image is tiny in search results.

And it's displayed narrower in the mobile app (last time I checked). More about that here:

So pick something important and make that the prominent part.

And there's not enough contrast on that CTA button thingy.

Use this tool for setting button text colors and stuff: https://color.adobe.com/create/color-contrast-analyzer

Hope that helps!

Hi creative_howl,

Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to help a new seller like me. I understand now that a simpler gig image is more effective. I'll definitely work on that.

I'm also considering specializing in secretarial services. Do you think it's necessary to specify my ideal clients in my gig title or description?

Thanks again for your help!
