Hello everyone,

I've been on Fiverr for about 3 months now. I have 2 Gigs at the moment, one for Google Ads Auditing, and one to Set Up a Google Ads account. I followed every piece of advice to improve my Impressions, but nothing seems be make a difference. Here's what I've done thus far:

  • SEO Title, description etc
  • Price under $40 - will reducing the price further increase my impressions?
  • Used every single section available. I've included a video, portfolio, every single setting has been used so my gig profile is 99% complete
  • High Quality thumbnail and images used

I even paid to get someone else to write me a Fiverr gig to see if that would have an impact.

Then I thought, once I get my first order and review, things will change. Well I just delivered my first Gig, received a stellar review and 5 stars, I'm already guaranteed work from the client again next month. I'm rewarded by Fiver with 1 and 0 impressions in the days following.

Specific Questions:

  1. Please if someone can have a look at my Gigs and make recommendations, I would appreciate it.
    1. https://www.fiverr.com/s/WEow6wx
    2. https://www.fiverr.com/s/Kekzo9W
  2. I read that it's not ideal to have 2 Gigs for the same job, but then I have NO way to test anything to see what's working, so how do I improve my Gig because I make a change, wait a week, nothing happens. Make a change, wait a week, nothing happens.
  3. Will using the max 4 Gigs have a positive impact on my overall impression share?

Thanks in advance.

First is good to know you are growing slowly but steady as clients are returning to your specific services I would rather say your gig looks great, but you have to be a little more patient in terms of grabbing on a stable client conversion rate, Till then, please make sure you are available on Fiverr, your stats are good & doing everything right.

Hi Petri.

Let me answer your 2nd question. I know you are still testing your 2 gigs, but if you offer the same services in the 2 gigs (deliver the same result. Hope you understand what I mean) , it is not recommended. And Fiverr might consider you to manipulate their searching system by having these 2 gigs. So it is better to keep only one gig for one services and you can test everything with the same gig. I see your gig description in the 2 gigs are the same. And it is even the same as in your profile description. It needs some improvement. Your profile description describe more about yourself whereas gig description describe more about the services you offer to your buyers as detailed as possible.

Remember that editing your gig affect your gig visibility. So do not edit it too often.

I always heard that after first order you gig will ranked

This is not totally true. But the truth in this statement is that your first buyer might be your repeated buyer if your first order is successful. And your gig will be visible little by little. Remember that you compete with the others in your niche. In contrast, if you have a bad experience in your first order, there is a low chance for you as a freelancer here on Fiverr.

Thank you for the feedback! There is a difference in the Gig description - 1 is focused on new accounts, and the other is an audit of an existing account. I'm busy researching the 3rd gig which will be monthly maintenance of an account. But I'll take it to heart and see if I can update - we can always improve:)

I'm aware of not editing too much, so I try to edit only once every week and then let Fiverr do it's thing. It's just frustrating when you get virtually 0 impressions, because then I can't assess whether my changes are an improvement or not.

Once a week is still frequent I guess. If I were you, after editing my gig, I would let it for 2 or 3 weeks to see the result if it is positive or negative before doing any modification.

OK. I see. But you use the same format and almost the same length in both gigs and your profile description that's why I did not notice the differences. That's why also you have to highlight that differences. All in all, there are some improvements that you should take into consideration.

I see you have already taken the course about "Online Freelancing Essentials: be a successful Fiverr seller". Tips of writing a winning gig description is already there.

Good luck.

1: It is against TOS to ask someone else to write gig descriptions for your profile.
2: Both of your gig  descriptions have been generated by AI. The 1st is definitely AI, the second is also AI but edited.

Thanks for your input.

1. It was a paid Gig on Fiverr. So I didn't "ask" someone, I paid them to write a gig description for me. The purpose was to match this against my own description so that I can test to see which results in better performance. (after 2 months, results are minimal)

2. Yes absolutely you're correct. I think 99% of descriptions are written with AI. I edited the deliverable section as well as the facts and figures, but I find that AI is a much better writer than I am. Am I being penalised by Fiverr for doing this? Is the original posts states, I'm not suffering from a poor CTR score, I'm not getting impressions, which is the very first hurdle I'm trying to clear here.

1. They keyword is that it's "against TOS" whether you paid for it or not. (Selling or Buying this service, both are prohibited).
2. Are you being penalized for it (low impressions)? Most probably yes! How? I think Fiverr has an algorithm for detecting AI written descriptions, and when a gig has been detected AI written, Fiverr penalizes you by significantly reducing your impressions.

Thank you @hollowm13 I appreciate the feedback:)

As a quick update, this morning I checked and my impressions jumped up from 5 to 20, so maybe I was just a bit impatient. But I'll look at my gig description and adjust accordingly.

All the best!

Last question from my side - can I ask what a healthy average daily impression count should be for digital marketing - SEM (search engine marketing). I would just like to know what my impression share is for the Gigs, as that would be a great yardstick to measure performance by.
