You can't compare WordPress and Laravel , Laravel is a full stack web framework , Where WordPress is a CMS, They are best in there own way, 
you can build any small to mid level website using WordPress on the other hand you can build mid to large Applications including Websites using laravel ,
now you can suggest clients based on there needs 🙂
