Innovative Forces Unite: Fiverr and XPRIZE

As some of you may know, Fiverr and XPRIZE have teamed up to empower people through innovation and to facilitate positive change. XPRIZE, a non-profit organization, designs and manages public competitions intended to encourage technological development that can benefit mankind. To kick off our partnership, XPRIZE challenged the Fiverr community to design the cover of the organization’s 2016 Prize Book, which will be distributed to Elon Musk, Larry Page, Arianna Huffington and other influencers on the XPRIZE board of trustees. “Since the 2016 XPRIZE Prize Book highlights all the Grand Challenges we are looking to solve through incentivizing innovators, it is only fitting to hold a competition with one of most innovative creative communities to design the cover. XPRIZE was excited about the opportunity to partner with Fiverr and its large community of content builders,” says Alan Zack, Senior Director of Marketing & Education at XPRIZE. “The feedback we received was incredible. The designs exceeded our expectations. The Prize Book is one of our most important publications as it highlights the Grand Challenges we are incentivizing innovators to solve. We know a great solution can come from anyone, anywhere. The more people know about the problem, the greater likelihood we will get quality solutions. ”Over 40 Fiverr members submitted designs for the competition, and XPRIZE selected the three following finalists. The big winner will be announced soon, but in the meantime, we’ve asked the designers to tell us their Fiverr story and explain what inspired them to create their particular cover design.
