About Me

  1. If you want to improve your freelancing career here on Fiverr, you need to build credibility on the platform. It helps prospective buyers identify you as someone to trust. It helps you sell more to the right people. But there's a problem with this. To build credibility, you need buyers to order from you, right? This is a catch-22 holding many new sellers back. Luckily, there are some ways to build credibility on Fiverr, even if you have just set up your account! It will still take time, effort, research and energy, but following these steps can make it much less miserable. Here's how you establish yourself as a true professional without spending years doing it. Disclaimer before we begin: You have to actually be good at something, in order to market yourself as a professional. If you're not, you're nothing but a pretender. Pretenders fail. TL;DR: Stick to your prices, and don't negotiate too much. Maintain a professional and well-made gig and profile. Look the part (no webcam shots at the kitchen table). Use the gig gallery to your advantage by showing off your work. Provide valuable content to your buyers to demonstrate industry expertise. It could be a guide you've written on the forum or a PDF in your gig gallery that is helpful to the buyer. Offer free consultations if it makes sense in your niche. Don't just copy/paste your responses to buyer requests: make each response count. Add your education to your Fiverr profile if it's relevant. Act like you mean business. Don't call people "bro" or "my friend". Take courses on Fiverr Learn to build credibility, and gain new skills. Say no with confidence if a buyer has unrealistic expectations or if you lack the expertise required to deliver the goods. Follow up during the order and ensure the buyer knows you're there for them after the order. 1. Don't be too flexible with your gig pricing It's tempting to accept any offer you get as a new seller. Negotiating when you have zero reviews can be beneficial. But don't keep doing it! When you have landed a sale or two with happy buyers, it's time to stick to your price! If you have any hopes of landing higher-paying clients, allowing too much room for negotiation can hurt your reputation and credibility by telling buyers that you don't know your worth. If you lack confidence in your own abilities, the buyer will probably lack confidence in them as well. P.S. A five-dollar gig instantly shows that you don't know your worth. If you sell anything for five bucks these days, you're not coming across as a professional. It will only serve to damage your credibility. 2. Make sure your profile and gigs are well-made Your gig and profile is like a virtual storefront. If it's ugly, buyers will go elsewhere. A professional-looking gig and profile will land more sales. That means no typos, gig thumbnails made by anyone but a designer, messy gig descriptions, etc. A well-made gig and profile will make you look more credible. Use Fiverr sellers to help you out in areas you struggle with. You also need to look the part. Just because you're working from home doesn't mean you should look like a slob on your profile picture. First impressions do matter! Dress up and hire a professional photographer. Doing all of this will cost you some money. But if you're not willing to invest in your business, perhaps you should consider a different career. 3. Showcase your best work Don't just tell the buyers that you're good at something. Show it. Even as a new seller, you have access to the gig gallery. You set it up when you make your gig. You can upload a gig video, photos, graphics and PDFs. Use the gallery to show off your best work. If you're a designer, create some stunning examples of your work. If you're a voiceover, upload your best demos. You get the idea. Showing prospective buyers your work will help them decide if you're the right seller for the job. Using the gig gallery properly will make you look more credible. 4. Provide valuable content to educate buyers Since you can't send buyers away from Fiverr, you should find ways of showing them your industry expertise on the platform. Examples: Write industry-specific guides for buyers on the forum Let's say your buyer is looking for a logo design but is having trouble deciding on a color. If you respond by sending them a well-written guide (that you wrote) about how to choose the right color for a logo, that immediately shows the buyer that you know your stuff. This is just an example. Be creative! Offer free consultations The goal of such a consultation should always be to land the sale by showing the client that you know your stuff. But make the buyer feel like it's about them (because it is). Use every consultation as an oppurtunity to learn more about their business. Knowledge is power and it will help you deliver better services. Use gig PDFs You can upload case studies from previous clients or work examples in the gig PDFs. Share them with your buyers if they reach out. 5. Submit high-quality responses to buyer requests Using buyer requests can be a pain in the neck. Frankly, I don't recommend using them to any established seller. But as a new seller, you will get access to some buyer requests after you've set up a gig. But making an effective response can be difficult. You have to be fast; otherwise, the request might disappear, but you must also nail the response. Beyond having perfect grammar, you should focus on what the buyer is looking for in the first sentence and avoid copy/pasted lists of what you can do. If the buyer is looking for a WordPress website, they don't need to know that you're a social media marketer. Including irrelevant stuff only tells the buyer that you have copied/pasted your response. Right there, you've lost your credibility. Start by stating specifics from their request. That tells the buyer that you've read their request. Continue with your value proposition, i.e. why the buyer should order from you and not someone else. Include relevant skills. 6. Add relevant education to your profile You can add your education on Fiverr. It will help build credibility, especially if it's relevant to your Fiverr gigs. It's by no means required, but it will make you stand out. 7. Act like you mean business Don't be casual. Don't respond using lots of emojis or call your buyer "bro" or "friend". They are not your brother nor your friend. They are your client. You instantly become more confident and dependable by acting like a professional. Your gig is a business. Treat it like one. 8. Take courses on Fiverr Learn When you take a course on Fiverr learn, it gets added to your Fiverr profile. Showing you've completed courses relevant to your gigs can help build credibility. The best part about doing this, is that you gain new skills while doing it. 9. Say no with confidence If a buyer comes to you with a project you can't deliver, say no. This could be a buyer with unrealistic deadlines, or perhaps you don't have the expertise required to deliver the goods. Being honest with your buyer and yourself will save you from trouble like negative reviews/feedback and help build credibility. I've said no to jobs before because I didn't think I was a great fit. A week later, the buyer returned with a different project and said they were impressed by my honesty and for setting realistic expectations. That job earned me 2000 bucks, and I still work with the buyer to this day. If you're in a situation where you don't have the required skills, refer the buyer to someone else. People remember stuff like that. 10. Always follow up You should follow up with the buyer during and after an order. Because it might come across as spam/annoying to message a buyer after an order, do this inside the order delivery message. Make sure they know that they can reach out to you if needed and that you're there for them. But don't forget: you should never work for free. It shouldn't be free if they need more work done that wasn't included in the original order. It harkens back to the "know your worth" part at the beginning. You should also follow up during the order by asking relevant questions, letting the buyer know that you're working on the project, and when they can expect results. In conclusion If you're a new seller, there are still ways of building your credibility on Fiverr, creating trust and engaging your buyers, even if you have zero reviews. But it takes time, effort and skill to do so, not to mention, investment on your part. How do you work to build trust and credibility on Fiverr?
  2. Here are few tips I learnt with my experience as a graphic designer Stay Active usually with Mobile app if you are away from laptop Reply as soon as possible to buyers Keep great conversation (most important) Use best and catchy gig images Write best gig description offer something free or extra service Always deliver more maintain higher ratings Send Buyer request Daily do SEO on different Keyword Target Low competition Keyword with average sale compare your gig or service to other sellers never ever copy paste anything from other seller profile Good Luck for your business. 3. Some good habits for a new seller: at first be confident on your skill to be a quick learner try to response quickly on your client sms Ask your client questions for work. try to maintain your client for next project maintain your active time at fiverr. dont push your client to give you order. Don't ask your client about good reviews. Good Price is not mendetory for a new seller, Need a Good client feedback. Friendly conversation with your client. Be professional because your client need a professional seller. Be happy and healthy.

  6. Hi Everyone, I have been a secret lover of Fiverr for some time now and so I thought it wise to make a post to encourage or perhaps share some Tips with everyone especially the Newbies. The intention of this post is to help settle down some common misconceptions a lot of people have about Fiverr. I hope New sellers including some level sellers will go through the pains to read and perhaps learn a few things from this. Number 1: Read And Know About The Platform I notice that a lot of sellers work on Fiverr but actually don't know a thing about the platform. It is always a good practice to have a bit of knowledge about the industry you are going to work in. With Fiverr, this means reading its terms and conditions, community guidelines, etc. When you take the time to read about it, you will find it easier to last much longer on the platform. As you can see I'm a new seller but I never signed up without reading through the vision and mission of the platform is. Number 2: Don't Play Dodgy Over time, you will get to know that integrity does pay. This means being honest at all times. This could also mean not trying to manipulate the system, buyers, or anything. If you work honestly, you will have little to worry about. Number 3: Get Rid Of The “Ranking” Mentality Let this sink into everyone's head including mine. There is no such thing as “Ranking”. Maybe it did exist, but it doesn’t anymore. There is only performance metrics but no ranking. Anyone who claims to do this or do that to rank in 24 hours is simply just deceiving you. You must understand that Fiverr is a business and so they want to make sure only the best performers represent their company. If you don't reply to messages on time, or don't deliver on time and your stats get messed up, you shouldn't expect to “Rank” as someone who is working hard. It’s common sense. 4: Do More Work To Get Ahead Like I said, Fiverr is a business and they too have expenses. This means they need money. When you work on the platform, don't focus just on making money. Focus on supporting the platform. Give your clients the best. This makes them happy and comes back. If you want to get noticed, do your job and deliver more orders. This way, you will get pushed to the front. 5: It takes time Many new freelancers join the platform and immediately think they will start getting orders straight away. No ! it could take weeks and even months for you to get your first message and it could even take months for you to get your first order. If you don’t get orders within the first few weeks or months, try advertising yourself on other platforms or social media. 6: Avoid Over Editing Your Gigs The best practice is, always gather all of your information and materials and edit at once as well as publish at once. The more you edit, the more you pull out your gigs from search results. Leave the algorithm to gather more data about you rather than provoking your gigs all the time. 7: Only The Tough Succeed Fiverr is a race. In fact, it’s a marathon. This means many people start off being very enthusiastic but they give up along the way. This is why Fiverr has a system that gets to calculates the performance of each seller. It is only those who exercise patience and persistence that end up succeeding on the platform. If you join the platform and don’t get any orders, you become sad and leave the platform, the person who has been patient will definitely take your place. This means you have just helped another person move up the ladder. Only those who are patient make it on Fiverr. 8: Some Times Will Be Quiet If orders slow down, don’t worry. This is normal and it's called seasonality. You won't always get orders back to back as others do. Just be patient and don’t be tempted to touch your gig. 9: Don’ be jealous of other sellers. It is normal to feel pressured and jealous when you find your rival with 20 orders in the queue and you feel left out. Everyone has humble beginnings. They too were once like you. Simply learn from them to understand what makes them special and learn from them. You shouldn’t be competing with others. You should be focusing on working harder. 10: Average selling price Though this isn’t stated anywhere by Fiverr, the price of your gig can make a very huge difference. As I always say, Fiverr is a business and so they want more profit. A person with a higher order value will gain a better spot much more than a person with a $5 gig. Let us give a simple illustration. If seller A sells a logo for $50 and seller B sells a logo for $5, it will take seller B to sell 10X logos in order to bring in the same amount of revenue that seller A will bring in with just 1 sale. This means if Fiverr puts a lot of sellers with $5 gig on the first page, they will take a very long time to bring in the money that higher sellers would have brought in for the same spot.
  7. Hello, Let me introduce myself. I'm Web Developer and work in this field since 2017. Technology is my passion. I'm new member in Fiverr. Long time ago I know about Fiverr, but not interested at that time, because for me it's too cheap rather than other platform. But I realized something, you must know how Fiverr work and and know your market. Fiverr little bit different than other platform. Other platform makes seller to send some proposal or bid into client's project. In this platform, buyer come to you when you has good work or something that might buyer interested for you. Got First Order My first gigs that got order is about testing a buyer website and give him/her report in: Excel with all BUG, UI/UX Improvement, and Optimization Video that explain about all information in Excel Here What I Do To Make My Gigs Stand Out More than six month I learn about Digital Marketing topic, and make me know "How do I reach my best potential customer?". 1. Market Research Always do your research about your niche by using Fiverr Search feature. If you find good gigs with high reviews, than you probable in correct niche. 2. Write Down The Keyword After you search using Fiverr Search, you might find repeatable keyword or what keyword might buyer type in search. Use it as good as possible in your title. 3. Tags Use all keyword that you found in point number #2 4. Cover & Images Create good cover imagas. It hasn't to be so amazing. Just create it with Canva is enough with clear text if you use any text in your cover images. 5. Description Here some topic that might help you create good description Who you are What you have done What buyer need to do before order What kind of finial result buyer got What you can't do Always learn and read from your best competitor. Your competitor is your best teacher for you. 6. Keep Active Login I don't know if this affect or not, but in my experience, when I keep active, my gigs always got good impressions. In other word, imagine if you as Fiverr, which one you recommended? New gigs, new user, but not active login New gigs, new user, but active login Of course, I would choose number #2. 7. Promote, Promote, Promote Everywhere It might part you hate the most. YES, you must promote your gigs as loud and wide as you can. Here some tips that might help you spread your gigs: Active in fiver forum or other forum. Help each other. It would brand who you are and how good you are in your niche. Twitter: Use search and find your niche active and helping each other Join Facebook Group that has biggest potential in your niche. For example: If I'm web developer want to sell my service, I might join in "Coffee Lover", "Writer/Content Creator", "Small Business Starter", etc The foundation is same Help Each Other. Don't ever-ever-ever-ever hard selling without any consent and do spamming other, it would hurt you as personal brand or your company brand. Finally Let me know if you have any tips too. Or might be you disagree with my tips above. Let me know.
  8. Hello Members, I joined Fiverr couple days back, and I am barely getting any any clicks/impressions. But I am continuously sending proposals to Buyer Requests, still I don't think the buyer are even reading my proposals. So, all in all, I have some questions rising in my brain. What kind of buyer requests should I respond considering my New Seller Level? Why am I not getting any impressions, even though I am an active member and I am sending the buyer requests every single day? Can I Direct Message a seller, after seeing his buyer request? What are the other methods to get order, except sending buyer requests? Any suggestions/comments will be more than welcome. Thank you very much for your time.
