  1. Hi Everyone, I have been a secret lover of Fiverr for some time now and so I thought it wise to make a post to encourage or perhaps share some Tips with everyone especially the Newbies. The intention of this post is to help settle down some common misconceptions a lot of people have about Fiverr. I hope New sellers including some level sellers will go through the pains to read and perhaps learn a few things from this. Number 1: Read And Know About The Platform I notice that a lot of sellers work on Fiverr but actually don't know a thing about the platform. It is always a good practice to have a bit of knowledge about the industry you are going to work in. With Fiverr, this means reading its terms and conditions, community guidelines, etc. When you take the time to read about it, you will find it easier to last much longer on the platform. As you can see I'm a new seller but I never signed up without reading through the vision and mission of the platform is. Number 2: Don't Play Dodgy Over time, you will get to know that integrity does pay. This means being honest at all times. This could also mean not trying to manipulate the system, buyers, or anything. If you work honestly, you will have little to worry about. Number 3: Get Rid Of The “Ranking” Mentality Let this sink into everyone's head including mine. There is no such thing as “Ranking”. Maybe it did exist, but it doesn’t anymore. There is only performance metrics but no ranking. Anyone who claims to do this or do that to rank in 24 hours is simply just deceiving you. You must understand that Fiverr is a business and so they want to make sure only the best performers represent their company. If you don't reply to messages on time, or don't deliver on time and your stats get messed up, you shouldn't expect to “Rank” as someone who is working hard. It’s common sense. 4: Do More Work To Get Ahead Like I said, Fiverr is a business and they too have expenses. This means they need money. When you work on the platform, don't focus just on making money. Focus on supporting the platform. Give your clients the best. This makes them happy and comes back. If you want to get noticed, do your job and deliver more orders. This way, you will get pushed to the front. 5: It takes time Many new freelancers join the platform and immediately think they will start getting orders straight away. No ! it could take weeks and even months for you to get your first message and it could even take months for you to get your first order. If you don’t get orders within the first few weeks or months, try advertising yourself on other platforms or social media. 6: Avoid Over Editing Your Gigs The best practice is, always gather all of your information and materials and edit at once as well as publish at once. The more you edit, the more you pull out your gigs from search results. Leave the algorithm to gather more data about you rather than provoking your gigs all the time. 7: Only The Tough Succeed Fiverr is a race. In fact, it’s a marathon. This means many people start off being very enthusiastic but they give up along the way. This is why Fiverr has a system that gets to calculates the performance of each seller. It is only those who exercise patience and persistence that end up succeeding on the platform. If you join the platform and don’t get any orders, you become sad and leave the platform, the person who has been patient will definitely take your place. This means you have just helped another person move up the ladder. Only those who are patient make it on Fiverr. 8: Some Times Will Be Quiet If orders slow down, don’t worry. This is normal and it's called seasonality. You won't always get orders back to back as others do. Just be patient and don’t be tempted to touch your gig. 9: Don’ be jealous of other sellers. It is normal to feel pressured and jealous when you find your rival with 20 orders in the queue and you feel left out. Everyone has humble beginnings. They too were once like you. Simply learn from them to understand what makes them special and learn from them. You shouldn’t be competing with others. You should be focusing on working harder. 10: Average selling price Though this isn’t stated anywhere by Fiverr, the price of your gig can make a very huge difference. As I always say, Fiverr is a business and so they want more profit. A person with a higher order value will gain a better spot much more than a person with a $5 gig. Let us give a simple illustration. If seller A sells a logo for $50 and seller B sells a logo for $5, it will take seller B to sell 10X logos in order to bring in the same amount of revenue that seller A will bring in with just 1 sale. This means if Fiverr puts a lot of sellers with $5 gig on the first page, they will take a very long time to bring in the money that higher sellers would have brought in for the same spot.
  2. Alhamdulillah! Today I achieved a new milestone. I completed 250 successful individual projects within 18 months. I know it's not too big, but for me, it's huge. I just suggest one thing to all. You don't need to take any project that you can't able to complete successfully. I have completed 250 projects, but I accept only nine (9) order cancellations. That's why I always keep my level-2 badges & maintain all requirements. Thanks & Regard Azmain Rahman
  3. Hi Everyone, It's been 6 years of journey in Fiverr. But I have a suggestion that may be helpful for sellers. I noticed that sometimes buyers buy gigs without contacting or understanding the project details. They don't see the gig details properly so the amount of work with payment differ a lot. At that time the only way for sellers is to cancel the job. But if you cancel the rating of Order completion will be decreased a lot that affects seller level. My suggestion is to please include a facility for the seller to accept/reject the task whenever a buyer purchases without contact. So both seller and buyer can understand about the task can be complete or not. I hope this will be very helpful for sellers to maintain level. Thank you
  4. Here is on my on-page seo services gig , please can you tell me is it okay. I hope It's a very helpful for my first fiverr market palace journey. thanks
  5. I hope everyone doing his/her best on Fiverr. recently I have completed my 100 orders target. And I have fill up 81 Reviews in My digital Marketing sector. I am now doing SMM, SEM and dropshipping. best of luck. Thanks
  6. Hi i am eligible for promoted gigs option. I started using it. But its costing me more than the revenue my gigs are generating from it. How to over come this problem. Is there any better strategy ?
  7. Hello there,☺️ Good day! I hope you are well.✌️I have been working at Fiverr Since June 2020 & in the meantime, I have completed 245 projects, where I got 188 5-star reviews & at two projects, I got four stars review. My selling price was $30.32, Rated Orders 77% 😁 For each month, I was trying to take 8/15 orders for each gig from my repeated clients & new clients.✌️ I was trying to send 10 buyer requests daily basis & Sharing the link on LinkedIn and Twitter to get back my gig, but it is a matter of sorrow that my gig impression & click wasn't up to the mark. 😭😭 Also, Maintain these standards to remain a Level Two Seller of all the requirements 100%. I was active on the Fiverr forum also. The last month I spent $10 to promote my gig, but the results weren't good 😞😞 I would be grateful to you if anyone give me a proper guidelines 🙏 Thanks & Regard Azmain Rahman
  8. So It 4 day back story in the evening I got Mail that Fiverr has deleted my gig which does not fulfill Fiverr TOS, unfortunately, the gig deleted by Fiverr was my main gig as I have done 16 orders only on that gig, the reason behind of my gig deletion is because I have used copyright images on the gig so they deleted my gig, but luckily I have the licenses of the images I'm using on my Fiverr gig. I contact the Fiver team related to these queries and demand for my gig restoration { although I don't expect that they restore by gig again as I read many articles people do not have confirm answer }. Fiverr immediately respond to my query and told me that they will help me out once the Fiverr team check my deleted gig. and after 2 days I got an Email that My GIG which was deleted is Live Again on Fiverr. Seriously guys if Fiverr has not restored my gig I have deleted my Fiverr id, because it's very hard to rank the gig. conclusion: Fiverr Team is very supportive when it comes to technical support, I got my gig back if it is deleted by Fiverr just provide the right evidence.

  13. Hello, I've been using fiverr since the end of 2019 and previously I needed to refresh the fiverr page every few minutes to stay online and active. Otherwise it would show on my profile that I'm offline (the green active status at the top right would turn gray and turn green again after I refresh). But recently I haven't seen it going offline for a long time now, even if I don't refresh it never shows that I'm offline. So I was wondering do I still need to refresh the page or just keeping it open in a tab is enough? Also I use the fiverr app in my android when I am not using my pc, will refreshing the app work or I'd need to refresh from a browser to stay active?
  14. it's been 3+ years fully active from last 18 months it was an amazing journey to this point only 1 performing gig with 237 orders till date (24-12-2021) what are some tips to fall in editors eyes to award Top Rated badge to me Thanks in Advance
  15. Well, in my case, when I got my first order. I was very surprised and excited. I made the order on time and successfully completed my first order. The client was also nice, I hope you'll get your first order very soon. Lesson i have learnt- Being patient is very must on Fiverr, don't be discouraged if you didn't get your first order yet. Just work on your craft and keep checking for new messages. I'll also get my first order after 40 days after I posted my gig. A little Tip- Use all the features and tools to post your gig, and also use pricing packages. Thanks -Inpaper
  16. How to start working on fiverr. How to make attractive gig?
  17. There is no easy way on Fiverr to rank GIG because of high competition one should do keyword searching before creating GIG because if yours is properly optimized then there will be more chances to get direct orders. You can do a couple of things to rank your GIG on the top of the search results. Availability:- Keep available on Fiverr as much as possible because buyers prefer to hire online sellers for fast communication and quick response and also try to be available on forum…as long as you can. Competitive Price:- If you're a beginner try to start selling at the lowest price in this way the chances of getting your first job will be high. Buyer Request:- Send buyer requests frequently. Fiverr gives 10 free bids to sellers per day so try to utilize all 10 bids in a day, try to send bids on those requests in which you’re confident to do the job, and try to be short and related request, Never Good Average Selling Price: This can help to improve your gig ranking if the average selling price is good. Always, try to be nice to your client….And also try to be on-time Delivery and Fulfill client requirement…That will create a good impression in front of client. Low Cancellation: Cancellation effect gig ranking badly so try your best to avoid cancellation and provide best services to your buyers.
  18. I am a new seller. I successfully completed 3 jobs. But I I haven't received any orders now. hope the experts will give their opinion.

  21. Hi everyone! It's been 02 years since I'm on Fiverr but I still can't make it to even one order. I joined Fiverr back in May 2019 but didn't know much, so ended up quitting. Fiverr removed my gig afterward. I made a gig some 10 days ago, but I still have 28 impressions and 2 clicks. I've been doing freelance content writing for so long via social media platforms, and I know the stuff. But I'm unable to grab much attention from potential buyers at Fiverr. I'm depressed and confused at this socio-professional dilemma. Please check out my gig and share your thoughts on how can I do better to attract potential buyers and secure orders. https://www.fiverr.com/share/xyNgKZ Waiting for read your suggestions. Thank you in anticipation!
