  1. This thread is dedicated for you new freelancers who need to know how to treat a customer and leave a good impression for their purchase. Me myself, is also a new seller on Fiverr. Last week, I received an urgent order from a customer regarding a translation service. As usual, me and my time have our customized tools to make us provide better and faster service. Unfortunately, our tools produce an error that really lead to misunderstanding between me and my client. As soon as client reports that there were several errors in the 20 pages long document, I felt so terrible and sorry for my inaccurate service. Then, I tried to explain to him that there might be some errors encountered by our tools. And this moment where he agreed to give me an opportunity to revise my work, it's really touching and at the same time embarassing for me. I thought to refund all of his payment and offer this service as free but he with all his generosity give me a tip instead. Really guys, as a new freelancer, as long as you treat your customer higher than you, they will as well respect you. They know that we, as a freelancer, despite our professionalism, could also produce errors or mistakes during the process. Please believe in yourself and don't forget to have professional attitude towards every customers ( I don't care if a customer only order a $5 or $500 worth of service). You might not know if they could repeat the order frequently and want you to help them with your services! Please, once again please, never treat your customer with bad attitude because you don't know what will come after!   2. Hello Community, a week ago a client booked my website development service without any personal conversation he bought my premium service. and also drop the requirements. The next day we started developing and needed more information on the project but the client does not respond so we skip that part and continue developing after a week the website is fully developed but the client is still not responding. unfortunately, the website is on my server. I remain with two option: 1. I can mark the order complete and wait for the client to respond so I share, his website file/data 2. Or contact the Fiverr team to cancel the order { but it cost us time and money } please help me out
  3. I just started as a new freelancer on the Fiverr platform and immediately came across an issue with the messaging system. Since I am new, I decided to quickly test a conversation with another known freelancer on Fiverr. Each response I gave disappeared and never made it to the receiver. About a day later, we discovered it was due to the other freelancer's status being unavailable. Once they had made their status available, I was able to have a conversation. The one problem I'm having with this is that my response rate is now 34 hours! There was nothing I could have done on my end to resolve this issue and now my newly-made profile is taking the hit. In aside from looking for a fix, is there a way my profile's stats can be reconciled due to this issue?
  4. I have a potential customer who contacted me a few days ago asking if I could complete a task for them. Since it was directly related to my Gig, I basically told them I'd be happy to and said they should place an order so we could discuss further requirements. They have not responded since. Should I send a follow up message, or is it most likely they found someone else to do their task?
  5. If I offer, say, 3 free revisions and the customer uses them up but are not satisfied. Do sellers offer more revisions for an extra fee? If you do so, and they refuse to buy more revisions, do they have to be satisfied with what they have or do you need to offer a refund?
  6. CAN YOU PLEASE ENSURE A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP OR SUPERVISOR ACTUALLY READS THIS COMMENT IN FULL & PROPERLY FIXES THE ISSUE? I'M TIRED OF GETTING RESPONSES THAT DON'T EVEN APPLY. So I signed up for my account via the GOOGLE LOGIN OPTION. It skipped through the next page like an error and chose a random username for me. I did not like the username. I decided to change my email and disable the account. I went to rejoin the site with GOOGLE LOGIN OPTION and it just kept saying that my account was disabled. They've reopened my account and I made sure I changed the email on the account. I did as I had thought. Correctly. But every time I try to log in using the GMAIL LOGIN OPTION or try to rejoin the website using the GOOGLE LOGIN OPTION it says either the account has been disabled or it logs me into the account with the changed email and username I do not desire. I've talked to Fiverr Customer Support about 6 times about this via email and they completely disregard what I am saying. Your customer service refuses to read what I have said in full and they give me the proper fix. So I've decided to come here to get my issue fixed. You can view an example of the failed attempts at service via one of my ticket numbers that I'll provide here. >>> #6795576 My goal, in the end, is to disable this old account from my email via the GOOGLE JOIN/LOGIN OPTION so that I can actually create a proper account with the desired username. I still have yet to understand why it never gave me the option to choose my own username. FYI I emailed "Frederico of Customer Support" (via this ticket number listed) the forum post and link so if it's ignored we will know who is to blame. I have gone through my emails and have decided to list the failed attempts with screenshots. Those will be posted next, to the forum. Please just fix the error. I'm tired of waiting. I've been waiting and conversing back and forth. Your customer service doesn't seem to respect my time though I have respected them thus far in spite of multiple errors and their obvious lack of reading the actual full email. It's insulting. I hope you don't treat all your patrons this way.
  7. I started my Fiverr account and it was quite difficult to get first order. I waited for months for my first order and then I started getting orders. I made some earnings and 5 out of 5 ratings. The problem started when i tried to withdraw my earnings as it said incorrect mobile number (i think i might have put 1 wrong digit as the last digits are correct). I tried to change my number but there i have to put my old phone number. i contacted Fiverr customer support and they said they cant help me. I even told them i can show them proof of my identity or any other documents they want, but still nothing. Worst experience at Fiverr. Wasted my days of waiting and hard work. Really don't know what to do.
  8. Hi there! My name is Sonreirj and I've been on Fiverr for years now. I've accumulated a lot of great customer feedbacks and with it, a handful also allowed that the final delivery to show up on my gallery. However, upon trying to preview my gig I saw that there were only 4 left in my gallery (1 video and 3 audios). What happened to the rest of the samples?
