  1. After having had a very intense/busy last week, I expected today to be a lazy Sunday — one of seclusion and contemplation. But — oh, no! Life would be too easy (too boring even) if everything went your way, am I right? 😉 As soon as I wake up, I usually check my mobile phone for notifications (I have ALL Fiverr notifications enabled, btw). Sometimes, I also open the Fiverr App just in case there is a notification hiding inside the App (sometimes, push notifications can be unreliable 😉 ). But, today, I didn’t see anything in the App either. After making myself some breakfast, I opened Fiverr on my PC. I noticed the characteristic magenta/pink dot by the “Messages.” There were still no notifications on the Fiverr App, though. This struck me as strange. Anyway, when I checked the Fiverr notification on my PC, it was the dreaded “Verify your ID to continue on Fiverr” message. 😰 Yep, it appeared as a notification. So, please pay attention to those magenta/pink dots and the message that’s shown! 😉 Since there are hardly any posts (from people who have succeeded in their verification process) detailing the entire verification process, I thought I’d give a very detailed description of my experience. 😃 Okay, moving on… When you click on that notification, it takes you to a page where there is a QR code (which directs you to the ID verification link) as well as an option to get the ID verification link (that the QR code directs you to) sent via e-mail. To be honest, I was under the impression that each seller received a unique link which would only work for that seller. However, it was just a generic link which took you to Fiverr’s ID verification page. This is the link that the QR code, as well as the email, directs you to: https:// www.fiverr. com/id_verification/info [Note: Hyperlink has been removed. Please do not go to this web-address if you haven’t yet received a notification to verify your ID. I have only shared this info. so that you understand every step of the process.] Once you go to that link on your smartphone, you will then be asked to enter your Fiverr login details. The verification process will start as soon as you are logged in. You can access the above-mentioned link via your PC/tablet/laptop, too. However, I am not sure if accessing that link from such devices would ask you to switch to a smartphone to proceed with the verification process. Fiverr suggests you do the verification process on your smartphone, and that’s how I did mine. The verification process consists of 2 stages: Take a photo of your passport/driver’s license/ID. Take a photo of yourself. You have the option to either go to the camera App on your phone to take a current photo or to access your photos/files on your phone to upload a pre-existing file/photo from your phone. Before proceeding to the next step in the verification process, you can also retake the photos as many ever times as you want until you are satisfied with the quality of the photo. Just like how someone had already mentioned in a previous thread, you can also upload a pre-existing/pre-scanned photo of your document by clicking on the icon that allows you to access the photos/files on your phone. I believe the more clear, sharp, focused, and bright (without overexposure, of course) your photos are, the higher is your chance of success. Therefore, I believe the easiest way to succeed in the verification process is by getting a professionally-made studio-quality photo of your ID and yourself and uploading it during your verification process (by clicking on the icon that allows you to access the photos/files on your phone). You could also use a scanner to scan your documents, but I believe a professional-quality photo of your ID (taken in a bright environment with diffuse lighting) would have a much higher resolution/quality. Here’s what I personally did: Since I didn’t have a pre-scanned image of my ID that was of good enough quality, I decided to first take a photo of my ID before starting the verification process (I used a 16 Mp camera for this purpose). It is also possible to tab out of your browser to access the camera App on your phone even when you are already in the middle of the verification process on your mobile browser.I stuck my ID onto the middle of a plain white paper (with double-sided tape). I then turned ALL the lights in my room on to ensure that the room was brightly lit and that the light was very diffuse. This was to ensure that there was no shadow projecting onto the ID while taking its photo. I rested the sheet of paper (with my ID) on a wall and then took a photo. Please make sure that the photo looks sharp and bright. I then uploaded the photo to my PC and edited it further for better brightness and image clarity. I then sent the edited image to my phone and started the verification process. In the first step, I clicked on the icon to access files on my phone and uploaded this edited image of my ID. Despite putting in all the effort to ensure that the edited photo was as bright as possible, the final uploaded image in step 1 looked dull/dark. But that didn’t seem to be an issue. Since I already had a studio-quality photo of myself taken when I had applied for my passport, I just uploaded that photo in the second step.This is the end of the verification process. You will then get a message saying that Fiverr has received your photos and that they will inform you of the result. Hardly 5 seconds after that, I got an email saying that I’d successfully verified my ID. . . . I also got a notification on Fiverr. I would also like to mention that the ID that I’d uploaded was not an entirely English document. It had German, English, and French. So, I think Fiverr accepts non-English documents, too. 🙂 I did not see any information pertaining to the number of attempts I had available and the deadline for successful verification of ID prior to account suspension. Some users have claimed that you only have 15 days to verify your ID and that you only have 3 attempts. I am not sure if Fiverr has changed this in any way. Or maybe you’re shown that info. only after you fail in verifying your ID? I don’t know. :man_shrugging: Please let me know if you have any other questions regarding the ID verification process. I’d be glad to help y’all out. 😺

  3. Hello Fiverr Forum, My account got restricted and temporary disable when i tried to verify myself with my passport and selfie. After that immediately my account got restricted. After open the customer ticket they told me the can't do anything with that and don't give me any chance to 2nd attempt my verification. The decision is final and they can't change it. I was met all the criteria for top rated and never get any warning from fiverr for any reason. After years of hard working i feel it's so unfair to me. They don;t even tell me any valid reason why they can't change their decision or give me 2nd chance to verify me. My question is, as my account is temporary disable will i resolve my account after 90 days? Will i work with this account in future after a certain period? Please let me know?   4. Hello everyone, Fiverr asked me to verify my identity. That is no problem to me, but the verification page in mobile after scan where I upload my passport, NID or DL just won’t work. I need to upload my documents, but the site doesn’t do anything. I need to click on a camera button, but the button is basically dead. I tried for hours and days refreshed the site a million times but it is still the same. Can anyone help? Thank you very much.

Hope you all will be in great state of health. i want to share my experience here at fiverr as a SELLER. i started back in 2019, and after crossing so many ups and downs there was a time after 3 months i got fed up , i was disheart, but suddenly i received my first order , that was the biggest day i remember i was so happy that at least my hardwork came back to me, from that day i kept working day and night i started seeing others i mean seniors and try to analysie things with mine gigs as compare to others and found i have much more to do now, i did try many things, in fact much ore things and i started seeling my gigs. i worked very hard even i had clients to whom i gave even 30 logo versions source files and every version consist of 6 formats. i tried to make each and every client happy and i did that, as my stats are witness on this , i have done 1860 job so far with 1349 total clients, the difference is repeat buyers, and i have 1129 reviews right now as i am a level 2 seller from approx last 7 to 8 months or more i guess, from these 1129 reviews i do not have a single 1 star rating i guess, 96% reviews are 5 stars and 3 to 4% are 4.7 to 4 stars. a person who is working here at fiverr can understand easily whats the meaning of completing 1860 jobs and getting 1129 reviews here , as it is really atime taking job and very hardworking as well. i have 100% job completion rate , 100% ontime delivery and 5 star rating overall. . i was very happy at my achievement as i never got a single warning in my 4 years. i use to stay up whole night approx in order to respond clients and tak with them about he projects, i use to stay up till approox 2 am daily then after that i use to sleep in intervals, just want to tell you their was a huge and massive hardwork behind this account and level. I LEARNT A LOT , I AM THANKFUL TO FIVERR, ITS BEST PLACE TO WORK AND EXCEL. here in my circle i used to teach how to work at fiverr to many people, first lesson i gave to them was ITS YOUR SHOP , ITS YOUR BUSINESS, BE HONEST , BE LOYAL WITH THIS PLATFORM AND EACH AND EVERY BUYER as each and every buyer matters a lot. then suddenly on 14 th of February , i was seeing things at my fiverr account and i came to know that MY ACCOUNT WAS FLAGGED, it was just like i am going to die, what happened to this? within 10 minutes i wrote to support and i got the answer about location inconsistency , i never travelled outside country as i even dont have my passport created which is neccessary for travel. then i wrote again and i got to know that i had a connection with other account which was disbled due to TOS violations, i wrote multiple times believe me i dont have any connection with any other account and my tickets got marked solved automatically i guess, anyways 14 februray was the day which i will never forget and i wish i could delete 14th february from my life as so far till now i cant sleep as i sue to sleep at night. its a nightmare for me. i am shattered now and wining all thi sstory of my ups and downs with shivering hands. i am using my account which is active but flagged and dont know what will be future of me, my carrer but i will still advice everyone its great platform be fair and be honest if you have any issues try to resolve it via experts. i am greatful to fiverr who provided me such a great platform to excel but i am shattered now and i will continue to work here at fiverr with my flagged account and i will proove myself once again. but it hurts a lot it hurts a lot. i wish everyone working here GOOD LUCK. keep working , keep going fairly.
  7. I'm facing the same issue and expect to be banned within two days. I'm quite frustrated with this whole process! I've done everything as required and failed repeatedly, meaning I have to keep taking photos of my passport and myself over and over again. If I do get banned, how can I access my earnings?
  8. Hey, I have the same problem. I have been a Fiverr buyer since 2017 and never had any problems. I recently created a few gigs because I'd like to try freelancing and all if a sudden I get a message saying: "Your account was flagged for using a false identity. We consider this a violation of our Community Standards and our Terms of Service." I absolutely don't understand what this could possibly relate to. All the pictures on the gigs I created are me, my name is real and I can provide my passport if necessary. I contacted customer service 3 days ago and received no response. I am not trying to break any terms of service, maybe I am missing something? In this case I'm willing to change it immediately, however there was no reason mentioned why my account was flagged. Somebody, please help. Thank you so much
  9. @milos_siena Hi, Thank you for your kind response. Let me answer one by one your above asked questions. First of all , Mehboob Ahmed is really a very common name in our region, you are right. Secondly, As far as travelling outside Pakistan is concerned, i never travelled outside Pakistan as even i dont have my passport created yet which is necessary to travel outside country. as far my other members are concerned, i have 2 of my close relatives with me working here too, both belongs to outside my city (but both are here in this city for work), i guess i used to log in in past from their home or from that city when i use to visit them for any family function or some funerals even. i also went to my other relatives outside city and use my mobile device there at which my fiverr account is logged in 24 hours and if i have some national holidays here then if i go outside the city, i carry my laptop with me for my work there. now as far as an account creation by me from this device is concerned, i bought this laptop ( in used condition from my local market) a couple of years ago, i never created any other account at fiverr for my personal use by using this device or for any one else. and currently as i have this account which is going well so i never had a need to create any other account for myself also i even know it is strictly prohibted and it will lead to serious action against me. i have two laptops here in my office at which my fiverr account is logged in , i use one personally and one is under use of my brother in law who is with me working here, i asked him if he created any account he told me he never created any account for himself or for us from the date he joined me here but helped a few people in account creation process but that was around 3 to 4 years ago when he was not with me , he said. as i myself guide a lot of people here how to work here at fiverr and whats the challenges you will face i guided many people as i am working here from a long time so many people and friends in circle ask me and i always guided them with whole heart , even to some people i guided via showing my own account profile here in my office and told about the whole process i give proper coaching here in my circle. even my wife wants to work at fiverr but i always said her it could be problematic for both of us to use two different accounts via same internet and home location etc even once i thought to ask support about this then i said may be it would be problematic for us so i did not ask. as far as clone block is concerned, i am sorry i do not know about this but came to know a few days back when my account got flagged i thoroughly read out the tos once again, , i paused my second gig which is for real estate logo, i paused that and i will not activate that ever. i will request you can investigate me in any way , i am here to tell everything as i have nothing to hide. but i must say one thing , at this stage i can never think about creating a second account its equal to killing myself with my own hands, i know this fact very well. i always worked for the prosperity of this platform and my own prosperity also soleley depends upon this platform as i am nothing without fiverr i can never even think about doing any violation intentionally. i will look forward to your kind response in this regard. Thanks a million for your kind response, my account is only logged in at two of my laptops and at one of my mobile device, at mobile device i use it 24 hours with my office wifi and once i got to home i use my home wifi which i just changed 1 and a half month ago, right now i am in my office so my mobile and laptops are connected with office wifi, i do not carry laptops to home and laptops stay in office, i never went out of he country , even dont have my passport created so travel outside is not an option. i am not sure about location inconsistency issue now.

I recently came across a situation where I'm a bit uncertain about the appropriate course of action, and I'd greatly appreciate your guidance. Here's the situation: I'm under the required age for ID verification on Fiverr by just two weeks (Yes! I've the most unfortunate luck imaginable). However, I have a valid passport that I could potentially use for the verification process. and the ID verification will lasts for eight days. My question is, would it be acceptable to submit my passport for ID verification, despite being slightly under the required age on the Terms of Service? I don't want to violate any rules or put my account at risk, so I thought it would be wise to seek advice from the experienced members of this wonderful community. I understand that rules and policies are in place to ensure a safe and trustworthy environment for everyone on Fiverr, and I respect that.     i got the answer again that was    ""It appears that you have a connection to another account that was disabled due to a violation of our policies, which is why your participation in Fiverr's level system is permanently restricted.""

     

    Actually, then i again replied to this above message and customer support marked it SOLVED automatically. 

     

    that is my point as i got a response at first from customer support at my ticket stating that there is LOCATION INCONSISTENCY , i am ready to give all proofs, my home internet bill , my home other bills, my id card , my office bills for internet, my office address  and all that and my mobile details etc, (i changed my home internet approx 2 months ago as i switched to fibre from other internet connection and i never travelled outside country in fact i dont have my passport created yet which is neccessary to travel outside country.

     

    now comming towards the CONNECTION WITH ANY OTHER ACCOUNT, i wrote to support on saturday that i do  not have any other account myself and even in my circle, i have a team of 4 designers who are working with my me in my office from last 3 to 4 years they all including me know about the second account policy is just like a death for all of us, as we all will be BAN, so they have never created the account and i myself know very well about this and i do not have any connection with any other account. 

     

    i do not have any active warning right now or even in the past years i never got any warning related to any of TOS , you can cross check i am sure , why would i do this severe violation when i clearly know the results of doing so . please be kind with me and consider this a humble request from me and my team .

     

    i always trust customer support responses i saw you respond very dedicatedly here i trust this issue will be resolved its just matter of my life believe me i cant sleep from last many nights as i have a great hardwork and effort behind all this and i have only one account i can never think about creating a second or had a relation with any other account. thats the reason i am litelly just begging from you guys to see this matter please.

     

    here in my plaza where there is my office, there are many offices who even do freelancing i even dont know who is working at fiverr. 

     

    i am attaching a few screenshoots showing my warning status as you can see i do not have any active warning right now or even in past as well.

     

    please co-operate with me there must be some misunderstanding please consider my request do no exclude me from this race. as after investing and spending so much time and efforts here at fiverr , fiverr is just like life to me.

  15. Hi @shanta350, It should be your picture ...and since the Fiverr account is yours, your ID is the only acceptable form of ID to verify your account. Even for minor accounts (requiring parents to agree to the ToS), the minor's ID is needed. This is to ensure that all information is accurate and truthful. This means that if you don't have an ID (such as a passport), you can't verify your account (and using someone else's identity violates Fiverr's ToS and could get your account banned). The best thing to do is reach out to Customer Service to find out what you should do to get your account straightened out. It doesn't make sense to keep operating using someone else's ID. There may be other forms of ID/documentation that you already have that may be acceptable for Fiverr. Otherwise, you will need to get an acceptable form of ID before you will be allowed to offer services on Fiverr.
  16. Well if you want to receive payment in fiverr, then you have to have payonner or paypal account. Other than that I doubt that you receive your payment. Just open up a payonner account it is very simple and verifity it with your national identity card of passport and you will need a bank account to verify it further and become ellible to receive payments through it.
  17. Sure, why not, if they all work I won't have to. I'm British, everyone! I have an amazing passport. It was better a few years ago, but it's still quite good. Unfortunately, the British government is very old-fashioned and won't approve of me marrying 40 gentlemen 😞
  18. Just got my id verified and guess what it is a pretty simple process. but the thing is you just have to provide valid and clear documents (Mostly CNIC/Passport) and clear live selfie. CNIC Photo and selfie should be the same.

  20. You're right, It is a pretty simple process. 2 days ago my ID also got verified. I just provided my passport clear photo and selfie. Then it took only 5 minutes to verify. Best of luck for your journey 🥰

Your I'd verification must be a national I'd card, passport or driving license are most important. your I'd card name to create a account otherwise I'd verification face a many problems.
  23. Fiverr encourages people to use their real identity. It is beneficial for both client and sellers side. A buyer would only knock you seeing if you are real or fake. Also, if you don’t get orders in months or so with an identity that is fake, fiverr would ask you to send them proves about your real identity that includes your national identity card, passport or whatsoever that proves you are the real person in this community or platform. Hence, use your real identity such as names, picture, biography and your skills too. Thank You.
  24. What if I don't use ID, but I use a printed passport? How to handle that verification? I've been struggling since last Monday and support advise hasn't helped yet.
