Ask the Community

I’m new to Fiverr and started my first gig yesterday. I have to say, my initial experience has been quite discouraging. In just half a day, I’ve received 12 messages along the lines of: 

"There was an obstacle when placing an order. Could you provide me with your email?"

I’ve seen online warnings about these types of messages and read that it’s recommended to report them. I’ve been doing that so far, but I have to admit it’s really demotivating, and I’m shocked by how frequently I receive them. 

Is anyone else experiencing this amount of spam? Could it be more common because I’m new, and does it decrease over time?
