If you haven’t come across it yet, vibe coding is a newer way of building software using AI tools like Lovable, Cursor, and Replit. Instead of writing everything line by line, you tell the AI what you want, and it does the heavy lifting.

The TL;DR? It’s making coding faster and more accessible.

Here’s the main point from Author Ben Matthews, Senior Engineer at Stackflow:

Vibe coding makes it easier for beginners and non-traditional developers to create apps and prototypes quickly. It’s great for side projects or basic tools, but when it comes to complex workflows, edge cases, or anything with serious security needs, Ben believes human expertise is still essential.

Also, just because the AI writes code that looks good doesn’t mean it’s flawless. Bugs, bad logic, and security gaps can slip through, so reviewing and testing the output is still critical. As Matthews puts it, vibe coding is great for kickstarting projects, but people are still needed to validate, secure, and maintain them.
