Four weeks ago, a buyer from Germany reached out to me about a very specific project. It just so happened to be something I almost offered on Fiverr in the past, but never did, because I always had enough work elsewhere (you know, my services in Dutch no one brags about but actually gets ordered).

But hey, the project sounded fun, so I dusted off the idea and created a brand-new gig. Not in logo design. Not in SEO. Not in “I will be your digital marketing ninja guru wizard expert".

Nope … it was something useful, specific… and rarely offered on Fiverr. You know, that thing called 

I temporarily set the price a bit low to build some traction. Yes, I had to compete with a few existing sellers, but nothing like the gladiator arena that is the “Graphic & Design” category.

Today, it got the “Fiverr’s Choice” badge

Everyone and their cat are offering “Minimalist Luxury Logo in 24 Hours”

Buyers sorting by "Top Rated Seller" (not on “new seller”) before you’ve even had your coffee

Don’t be another drop in the overcrowded ocean. Be the only bottle of water in the desert.

Because unless your dream is to publish a gig that vanishes into Fiverr's search results like a sock in a washing machine, you might want to reconsider.

Let’s be real: in those over-saturated categories, new sellers aren’t “competing”, they’re ghosting themselves on day one.
 

It’s not just about being smart. It’s about not being the 5,000th seller offering “unique logos” and wondering why the universe is ignoring you.

So... You want to sell logos, WordPress services and SEO on Fiverr? Cute.
