I'm a new user trying to hire a freelance developer. I've encountered a problem when trying to contact new sellers on the platform.

I registered through the Android app and searched for a developer.

I found a relatively new seller (with no level), clicked their Gig, and sent them a message.

The message appeared in the conversation window, but it never showed up in my main inbox, even after refreshing and checking my filters.

I tried again with a different message and had the same result—the conversation window was empty, and nothing appeared in my inbox.

 (Level 1 or 2), the message appeared in my inbox as expected.

Curious about why this was happening, I tried to replicate the issue on my desktop browser:

I logged in, opened the developer console, and tried to contact a new seller again.

The network tab showed a successful 200 status code, and the user interface confirmed the message was sent.

However, just like on the app, the message never appeared in my inbox.

When I repeated the process with an established seller, the message appeared in my inbox, and the network tab showed the same 200 status code.

Why can't I have a conversation with sellers who aren't Level 1 or 2? Has anyone else experienced this?
