I hope you're all doing well! I'm a new seller and I’ve been trying to maintain my **response rate** at 100%, but I’m a little confused about **how exactly Fiverr calculates it**.

From what I understand, it’s based on how quickly you reply to a buyer’s first message within 24 hours. But I have some questions:

1. What if a buyer sends a message just to say “Hi” and never responds back — do we still need to reply instantly?

2. Does replying through the mobile app also count towards response rate?

3. If we get spam or irrelevant messages, do they still impact our rate?

Also, I’d love to hear from experienced sellers — **what tips do you follow to maintain a solid response rate**, especially during busy or offline hours?
