I recently joined the platform, spent a lot of time setting up my profile and gigs, and was hoping to get real project requests. But instead, all I get is an endless flood of spam messages, fake offers, and scammers trying to get my email.

It’s honestly overwhelming. I spend time deleting and reporting spam only.

Does anyone else feel the same? Is there any way to reduce the spam or make the experience better for new users? 

Would love to hear tips or solutions — but more than anything, I think the platform really needs to address this problem.
