I registered my account and created my first fiverr gig yesterday. The response has been overwhelming! But unfortunately it has been nothing but spam, variations of the messages asking to get your email address or phone number. 
I have gotten 17 requests in about 12 hours, and none of them are legit. Is this normal? 
Does everyone on here deal with this? If that is the case, how?
 So far this site seems very disappointing.
