I’ve noticed a growing trend of buyers waiting until the end of the delivery review period to submit revision requests without specifying what revisions they actually need. This can be quite frustrating and disruptive, especially when buyers provide vague or incomplete instructions. 

Here are a few examples I’ve encountered: 

A buyer submitted a revision request saying, 

One buyer used the revision request feature just to ask a question about the order, again with no mention of specific revisions. 

This behavior often leads to delays, as some buyers won’t respond to follow-up messages. The order effectively becomes paused until a new delivery is made. 

My usual approach is to redeliver the same file with a message asking the buyer to resubmit the revision request once they have specific changes to share. While this sometimes works, it can still create unnecessary back-and-forth and extend the timeline. 

Another challenge is that the system allows buyers to submit revision requests even after exhausting the revisions included in their order. While I’ve tried requesting additional payment for extra revisions, this can lead to lower feedback from buyers, even if their requests are beyond the original scope. 

Has anyone else faced similar issues with buyers misusing the revision request feature? How do you handle these situations effectively while maintaining a positive experience for both yourself and the buyer?
