Ask the Community

The first time this happened was a month ago - my gig, which had been successfully listed in the "Graphics & Design/Illustration" category for three years, was suddenly moved to the "Personal Growth & Hobbies/Arts & Crafts" category. I’m an illustrator, and the original category was a perfect fit for my work, unlike the new one. I contacted customer support, and they acknowledged the mistake and moved my gig back. 

The second time, it happened again just a week later. I reached out once more, and my gig was returned to the "Illustration" category. 

I’ve been running a successful business on Fiverr for the past three years, but these constant reassignments have started to impact my ranking, reducing my impressions and, consequently, my orders. Because of this, I was even downgraded to a Level 2 seller (at least, that’s what I was told). 

Over the past week, things were finally getting back to normal… BUT - guess what? My gig was moved to an "Arts & Crafts" category again 😕 This is the third time in a month, and I’m honestly exhausted. 

Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I really want to understand the reason behind it. Fiverr support is very slow and doesn’t seem to have an answer either. As far as I know, category changes are done manually by Fiverr staff, so I have no idea why this keeps happening. 

Gig being moved to another, WRONG category? Anyone else? 😫
