I recently experienced two scam attempts in just two days, and I want to share my experience to raise awareness. As I understand, there’s no real protection for freelancers when it comes to intellectual property. 

I’ve never heard of a case where someone can order a photo or video from a photographer and then revoke it after receiving the final work. A buyer can accept the delivery, receive the work with the watermark removed, and still dispute or revoke the payment afterward. This is ridiculous. 

I’ve opened a ticket with Fiverr support to confirm if this is really how their system works. If so, I’ll be leaving the platform—it’s disappointing that freelancers don’t have better protection. 

I’m attaching screenshots of my conversations with these buyers for reference. I’m not sure if this post will be allowed, but I hope it helps others stay cautious. Has anyone else experienced this?
