Ask the Community

I was one of the people who learned about Fiverr Go on Tuesday and although I have always been wary of AI in voice over I was curious to find out how a personally trained AI version of me would sound so I had a look. 

Perhaps my expectations were too high but at the moment there is no way that I would offer the Fiverr Go version of my voice. You are allowed 2 tries to train the AI before you have to pay to sign up and both versions were awful. I have a fairly RP British English accent and first the AI generated a high pitched US accent and when I uploaded a second longer voice sample it generated a better stab at British but after 100 words was returning to a US accent. Neither voice sounded anything like me. I thought that if I typed in a new prompt suggesting I needed it to be a British accent it would have any other try but instead told me that was a British accent. 

Maybe after the teething glitches are over I might request another free training session but for the time being I'm certainly not going to offer anything but the real me. 

Has anyone else had a play and perhaps had better results?
