I have enjoyed a long history as a buyer with Fiverr, happily using the excellent services of freelancers from many countries. I take great pride in my profile history which shows feedback from sellers who have also enjoyed their experience working with me. In December I began a new project with a Freelancer I have worked with many times before and the order completion date was set for mid-January. The date came and went without any delivery and despite Fiverr contacting the Freelancer (and me reaching out) there has been no communication and it seems the Freelancer has not been online for quite some time. My first concern is for the welfare of the Freelancer. I truly hope that they are ok and we have the chance to work together in future. I know that something serious must have taken place for someone so conscientious to be suddenly absent. I wish them well. Within the last week I put the matter into dispute with the intention of closing the matter and having the fee refunded. I also began the process of contacting five other freelancers in the hope of working with one on my non completed project. I use both a desktop and phone app (so as to be as responsive as possible) with Freelancers. I was in the middle of conversations with Freelancers when I was logged out of my account (it must be an old one with a username not email) and I cannot get back in. This is my fault. The account is using an email address which I no longer have access to (so any of the easy solutions offered by Fiverr are not available to me as they seem to involve the old email. I contacted customer services 3 days ago hoping the matter would be resolved quickly but I have not made any progress. I am concerned that the Freelancers I was in contact with will think I just stopped communicating with them (or they did something wrong.) I am hoping someone in this forum will be a Fiverr employee and can assist. I am using another Fiverr account to post this message on the forum (as I couldn't login using my old/original account and therefore would be unable to post.)
