I received a message from a buyer wanting some software development work done, to which I responded within 10 minutes. I initially asked for more project details and received those in a .pdf document within 2 hours. I responded that I would revert back within 24 hours so that I could review the requirement before presenting an offer. I then got back to the buyer within 24 hours but needed to ask additional questions on the work. This was 2 days ago and the prospective buyer has not responded to my latest message. Is this time lapse too long and was I not proactive enough in giving a price and committing to the work? What is your advise on response time to presenting an offer?
