  1. Sounds to me as though your buyer did not get his money back from order #2 that you did not want to take or do - and instead of contacting Fiverr customer support, just went to his bank and disputed the charges. For whatever reason, the bank seems to have flagged both Fiverr purchases and cancelled both. Unless your buyer can get his bank to put the charge that was valid through, I doubt you will get your money. GG
  2. Do a forum search for India Taxes and you will find literally 100’s of topics discussing this already. It has been going on for close to 2 months I think now. GG
  3. NO. You cannot break the TOS, be told by Fiverr that your account is DISABLED and gone - and then just think you can open a new account with a different picture in order to bypass being tossed off the platform! Expect THIS account to be banned soon as well. and You need to take a seat and stop giving your “insight” about what this poster should do. Seems as though you have NO idea what the rules are here. They cannot just open a new account because they broke the rules, and this rule they broke is a MAJOR one - don’t ever mess with someone’s money - Fiverr spends a ton to lure people here to sign up and buy - they don’t need some errant seller taking them offsite to pocket 100% - go read the TOS before spouting horrendous advice here. You haven’t even been a seller long. GG
  4. No. Sitting around the Fiverr forum is not going to get you impressions. Do you even know what impressions are? This is some fake “tip” you probably learned from some “guru” or “mentor”, right? Well, stop listening to them if you want to be successful here. Wrong again. You may want to type “impressions” in the forum search and learn what they are. GG
  5. Uh, you better STOP doing that. It is against the TOS. What I think is unfair is someone who goes to school and cheats their way through class to get their degree - then gets a job they are not qualified for. Well, he didn’t get good grades on those assignments, you did. As for if you were offering a Gig that was not fraudulent - the buyer can choose whether or not to review. Period. Why are you doing other people’s academic work for them? Do you not have any conscience or scruples? Expect your Gig to be shut down soon. GG
  6. jonbaas is not posting on the forum at this time, so he is not going to be able to answer you. Did you READ the entire thread? I think MORE than one time someone has posted the LINK to read about promoted Gigs. GG
  7. Uh, I hate to be “that person”, but, looking at your Gigs you have NOT had ONE order or at least, no reviews…also, you just joined in February 2021, so how is it you have “waited months and months”? Why do I have a feeling you copy/pasted this post from somewhere else? You do realize while trying to “appear” as though you are well spoken and read quoting Rousseau and Joyce Meyer - you look foolish by masquerading as someone you are not. The giveaway was quoting Joyce Meyer whom I believe is someone pretty much only known to those in the Bible Belt here in the US or in Texas I believe where she is a pastor on TV - For some reason, I just could not swallow that some guy from Pakistan would know to quote Joyce Meyer a Christian preacher - isn’t Pakistan mostly Muslim? Either way, I found both of these quotes on a site called BrainlyQuotes (something like that). Anyways, I think that you and your post is fraudulent. Change my mind. I think I will go get some receipts though before you can. GG
  8. I wonder if you click on “Deliver Work” again it would bring up the draft? GG
  9. He is NOT talking about a category to list your Gigs in and sell, he is talking about a category on the FORUM where artists can talk art etc. GG
  10. All you need to do to see their Gig is click on their name in the forum and it will take you to their forum profile page - highlight and copy their user name and then open a page to search for Gigs on Fiverr and put their name in the search box. Search for User names matching this person’s. They are not allowed to give their Gig link in this category of the forum and it is easy enough to find them. Also, if you are thinking that you want to see their profile so you can message them directly to ask for “insider tips and tricks”, I would advise you not to do that. They are not here to be your personal coach. They gave tips above to help you if that is what you need. Messaging sellers whom you want to just pick their brain and not buy their services is a good way to be reported for spam. GG
  11. Are you talking about buyers or people in the forum? This guy is asking about other forum users giving misleading or incorrect information. Your post seems to be on another subject entirely. You were already guided how to report someone. You can ignore or block users in the forum whom you do not want to participate with, see their posts etc. Click on their name in the forum post - and then click again on their name when their info pops up. From there, it will take you to their page in the forum and on the RIGHT hand side, there will be an icon that will say “Normal” - click on the drop down menu tab thingee and you will have the option to either “MUTE” or “IGNORE” them. When you click either of these, you no longer have to view their posts. I think though, that if you come upon their posts in a thread, you will still have a choice to view them, but you have to click on a link that says, “View Ignored Content”. GG
  12. I wouldn’t risk asking or mentioning review at all. Too many loopholes here or black holes one can fall down if Fiverr’s bots thinks you are asking for a review. I used to put it in my message when delivering too - something like you do, but, I would rather not risk it, and Fiverr reminds them to review anyways. I don’t want to be a thorn in their side. GG
  13. You can’t do that either. Don’t ever hint at a review. Period. I used to say something like what binary did in my message when I delivered orders. But then a few years into doing that, all this talk about reviews, and asking about or mentioning them got some on the forums in trouble, and I just didn’t need the headache of them getting around to seeing that I was typing something much like they did - and have now just left it out and have a different message that just thanks them for ordering and to have a look at my other Gigs since I offer more than what they ordered. THAT seems to do really well, as some people do not go through all your Gigs and when they realize (at least in my niche) that you can do more than, say, X, they go and order Y. It has been a great way for me to sell services on my other Gigs. GG
  14. No, it is not OK to remind them once. Fiverr does this for you. This is bad advice and could get someone a TOS warning for asking for a review. GG
  15. This is only ONE reason why you do not chase buyers for a review. The second, is by messaging a buyer and asking them for a review, they could report you and you could get a TOS warning. YES. This is exactly what you should have done and should do from now on. Deliver your order and move on. If the buyer needs something, they know how to find you. Some buyers just choose to not review. Some are private types who do not want other sellers to see how they rated someone. Some are just lazy and do not review anyone. Some are less than happy with what they got, but do not want to put a bad mark on your reviews and leave it be, and just won’t use your service in the future. They have their reasons. Besides, while you were chasing them around for a review, Fiverr was reminding them as well! When they mark the order complete or they retrieve their files/order, Fiverr prompts them to leave a review AND if they would like, to tip you. If they do not do it at that time, I think when they log in again to their account there is another “reminder”. So, imagine this buyer getting you sending messages asking for a review, and then Fiverr having a pop up message or some other message on their account asking to review the order! I would be annoyed as well! Just leave it be from now on. I think getting 15 reviews out of 20 orders is pretty good! GG
  16. You couldn’t anyways - I am sure your parents name and photo look different than you. 😆 While it may be a pain to get a passport or other ID in the Philippines, unless you do, Fiverr will put your account on ice. GG
  17. Oh, so he should commit fraud, should he? Great advice there! GG
  18. Then I guess you will no longer be a seller on Fiverr. GG
  19. You cannot get verified without any of the ID’s Fiverr needs from you to prove your identity. Go get a passport. GG
  20. There are already a ton of threads on this very question. Use the search icon in the upper right hand corner of the page to find them. This question gets asked multiple times daily and has been answered - the answer does not change either! GG
  21. Those are the WORST!!! It isn’t that they are unhappy with what I delivered, it is just they have a “question” about what I delivered (nothing needed fixing) and decided to hit Revision instead of just sending me a note on my page or on the order page. I swear, if that counts against us, in some secret AI way, that would really suck. I do not get this often, maybe once every 6 months, and it is too funny, because I ALWAYS know which people will do that - so, it isn’t a huge problem for me, but could be for others!
  22. NO need to reply TWICE with the SAME advice to the SAME post. I swear you think that posting on the forum will help your Gig. OY! GG
  23. I could be 100% wrong about this. It’s based on my personal observations and I could be mistaken about most of it. This could very well be a simple reminder, just as well as it could be a reminder that’s also getting measured. But have you noticed that we got a number of notifications we didn’t use to get in the past 2 years? -the buyer is waiting on an update -you have 12 hours to deliver -the buyer is new to fiverr -this is a VID buyer -this is a business buyer -check the requirements -this is a Fiverr’s choice order Maybe this is Fiverr being as transparent as they can be with us: “You need to provide a great service, here’s what we need for you to do.” Now that you brought that up, I have to wonder if that goes against you too? I get that message constantly and it irks me. I do not open up an order until I am ready to work on it OR if I feel there may be something missing. For some reason, I always know to look at those orders that will invariably be missing a key component I need to get the job done. I had one just last night, and sure enough, had to write to them asking for it. So, I wonder, with this “check the requirements”, if you don’t OPEN the order and check to see if everything is there within 24 hours or whatever - if that also makes you look like you could care less about customer service? Also, with the messages of There is always that “reach out and make their experience good” (or whatever it says). I wonder if I am supposed to be sending them a little greeting and thanking them for their order (before working on it!) and that I will be getting to their reading soon? Lots to chew on. I don’t do either of the above - meaning, I do not send messages to new buyers welcoming them, I don’t check the requirements until I am ready to do their work OR unless I feel something may be missing. Interesting. GG
  24. I will keep that in mind. It just rubs me the wrong way as if you have someone over your shoulder looking at you and tapping their foot. I also do not deliver days or long before the delivery date because, there is an EXTRA for that - you want your stuff in 24 hours? Then you have to pay a fee to cut in front of the line. I always felt like if I deliver in under 24 hours (if I am not doing anything better with my time) it gives the impression that the next time they order, they will get the same fast delivery. I don’t want to train people to think that is how it would be. So, I usually do it within that “you have 12 hours left” window, so that they A: get it on time and B: usually hours before it is due. They need to fix the bug that told me a 15 hour remaining on the order Gig clock is 12 hours and under now. I just delivered it, so it was over the 12 hour mark. Oh well, can’t win for losing it seems! GG
