Hi Kesha! thank you very much for responding. I did go through most of the posts when I joined. Optimized the profile as well. I am just being patient. I have most skills in high demand niche I guess so I need to be more patient. Regarding portfolio, Maybe that is where I need to put in more efforts. I do have samples but most are I confidential work hence unable to post. I guess I need to put up my own website and then slowly prove my skills with work I can show without client's approval. Thank you for always responding 🙂

What I learned in 2 years working as a Seller on Fiverr?
ibtisam_ch replied to farhan_editz's topic in Tips from Sellers
All I received was spammy messages too. Since then no messages. Still waiting. I might now make a change to Gigs in few weeks, just waiting till my exams. Let's not get demotivated and keep trying. I am sure you have another job on hands other than online medium right? -

Hello Farhan! It is so good to see Pakistani success stories here. All are great but you know having the difficulties of our region with the network and stuff, I find it rather exciting and motivating to see people of Pakistan posting about their story. I would hate to ask because I know you might have answered it so many times already but are you amongst those who got their first order within a week or month? Also do share an insight for me. By the way wish you more success. Keep posting. Regards, Ibtisam Chaudhary. -
Great insight! But could we have some specific post for new people here who have been waiting from two to three months for leads. I mean no doubt making a change in Gig affects visibility, or too much or too less of competition in niches perspective could always keep one under the water, but still despite competition, if someone has skills that are in high competition niche only what could be helpful then? I hope I am making a little sense 🙂 Thank you.

Not Disappointed in Fiverr - Just seeking motivation & advice
ibtisam_ch replied to ibtisam_ch's topic in Gig Advice
Hi! I was aware of too much demand, but still went for it because have been doing it as freelancer other than Fiverr. But may be need to niche down. And being a content writer, thought of targeting low volume keywords as they work great in content writing niche, so applied same strategy somehow since I do this work a lot in real life too being a teacher and preschool head. I shall look into too low competition advice and go with something that is in balance. Thank you very much again @filipdevaere 🙂 -
Hi there! Most of you have already given me advice and I am patiently waiting here on Fiverr. I am just going to ask that I tried not to touch my Gigs for months now. Just removed one and uploaded another. If there is still no offer, should I now make changes to Gigs or promote? @filipdevaere I love your straightforward & harsh advice. Shed some light please. Thank you in advance. Regards, Ibtisam Chaudhary

Hello! First of all thank you for taking out the time and responding. I have read your message multiple times and you are right. But one thing with experimenting that I have noticed is that making small changes affects the growth of Gig a lot. Your impressions and clicks just become next to nothing, hence changing a lot seems like going for more wait. Although, I would like to ask that what are your views about sharing approach? I mean randomly sharing on your social pages even if you have no following or go for groups that mostly seems scams and good for nothing. Thank you for responding! Regards Ibtisam Chaudhary.

Welcome to Fiverr Ainur. You have a unique name. Wish you all the best. I am new here too & I guess patience and learning from others should be best advice one can get. Let's hope for success here. All the best!

Text messages are okay when it is a chill conversation. But texts manage to make serious situations really complexed if misunderstood. I will prefer phone calls over texts always. Texts are fine for light group or individual chats which do not involve sensitive or serious conversations.

Hello! I have received three scam messages already (taking to telegram, brand new account with suspicious file etc). Today someone messaged me for my Gig but shared a link & then once I sent back Hello, I am unable to send another message. They are on Fiverr since 2016. So it was a fake or scam message/client? What should be done if someone sends in a file or link as their first message along with hello? Should we be open to ask for details in text to know more about the person genuinely? please guide. Also if they are scam, is it necessary to block them? Thank you in advance for kind suggestions.

Hi! I got your point totally now. I guess I totally can understand now that I have been misguided a lot. These were closely related people whom I know. I was even advised to get fake purchase or purchase from friend but that alarmed me and thank fully I turned towards the Forum and found rightful guidance and trusted my instincts to not do something unethical or wrong. I will be following your advice. I will now take a day or two and focus on my expertise once more and do niche research as well and then create three new Gigs after taking proper time and doing proper research and avoiding any extra negative advices. I am also going to take your point on over optimization! Thank you for pointing out that too. I am really grateful to you! I am so sorry to ask a lot. Thank you very very much. God Bless you!

Need tips to stay motivated as a new seller on Fiverr.
ibtisam_ch replied to ibtisam_ch's topic in Gig Advice
It makes sense. I was of same view after going through those groups. I will consider learning more regarding marketing. Thank you! -
Hello Again! I totally get your point of view and how it worked for you. This has been really great to read about your journey and is definitely very motivating for me being a lady from Pakistan as well. Yes, I did make that mistake and the gigs are all too similar. Actually when I took the start, I had taken advice from some people and they said do not create different Gigs as that may cause issues in getting orders. Since I have experience with video editing, worksheets & workbooks creation etc. I thought to put up these services to see what works but I was advised to focus on similar kind of niche, but yes you and @katakatica mentioned rightly that even if I had to focus on writing niche only, I could offer variety. But now I am wondering to not delete two or three of them and first see for a month at least if they work as I also read somewhere editing the Gigs can create problems. Otherwise, if you advise I think I can remove them and create a variety for sure. thank you for giving suggestions along with your reply. It was really considerate and kind of you. No need to say thanks. You deserve more. Best Regards, Ibtisam Ch
