  1. Not at all, I'm standing by a seller with the mindset that hopefully someone would do the same for me should someone attack my business for no reason.
  2. Again, is that for you to say. That is your opinion and doesn't need to be made public in a way that can damage his reputation before he is off the ground. He may have been working on his skills on the side whilst starting up on Fiverr.
  3. Don't get me wrong, I can see your points. and I wouldn't be happy to pay you to add numbers to my name. But again, is that for you to say, or for any potential clients he has. Fiverr's system protects buyers and sellers alike. There is no need to damage someone's business publicly and state that they are doing something wrong, when in reality they may not even realise it themselves. He could just be starting out? He could be working on his experience. We all have different background and different starting points. We don't need to point fingers and tell people off when a client can just press the revision button if they don't like the service, or they can contact Fiverr themselves.
  4. I get what you mean, but he is just trying to get his foot in the door. You are established on Fiverr. To most, that's a dream. Look at his other posts, they are all just trying to ask for either advice on how to make it on fiverr, or attempting to draw attention to his already created gigs. He's doing the right thing to build businesses and awareness, and most importantly he is trying to learn to better his business.
  5. He is trying his best guys. We all have to start somewhere, and I find it a bit uncalled for to openly mock him and what he is trying to do to make that extra cash to ensure that he can survive in an ever more challenging environment.
  6. Hello there! Congratulations on expanding your services and introducing an animation gig on Fiverr. When it comes to determining the best length for your animation videos in terms of SEO, there are a few factors to consider. User Engagement: It's important to create videos that keep viewers engaged and interested throughout. Focus on delivering high-quality content that is concise, informative, and visually appealing. Generally, shorter videos tend to perform better in terms of engagement. Content Relevance: Ensure that the length of your animation video aligns with the message you want to convey. Sometimes, a short, impactful video can be more effective than a longer one that drags on. Focus on delivering your key points efficiently. Target Audience: Consider the preferences and behavior of your target audience. Are they likely to watch longer videos or do they prefer shorter, more concise content? Knowing your audience's preferences can help you tailor your video length accordingly. While there isn't a definitive answer to what the "best" length for an animation video is, it's generally recommended to aim for a duration between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. This range provides enough time to communicate your message effectively without losing viewer interest. However, it's important to experiment, analyze the performance of your videos, and adjust accordingly based on the feedback and engagement you receive from your audience. Remember, SEO isn't just about video length. Other factors like optimizing your gig title, tags, descriptions, and using relevant keywords also play a significant role in improving your search rankings. Best of luck with your new animation gig on Fiverr!
  7. Hey Fiverr community! In the dynamic world of freelancing, there are plenty of well-known tips and tricks for success. However, there are also some lesser-known strategies that can truly make a difference in your freelancing journey. In this post, we'll explore a few of these often overlooked strategies that could give you the edge you've been looking for. Embrace the Power of Niche Specialization: While being a jack-of-all-trades may seem tempting, narrowing down your focus to a specific niche can greatly boost your success. By becoming an expert in a particular area, you'll differentiate yourself from the competition, attract clients seeking specialized skills, and increase your earning potential. Prioritize Ongoing Professional Development: In the fast-paced world of freelancing, it's crucial to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in your field. Dedicate time regularly to enhance your skills, whether through online courses, attending webinars, or participating in industry forums. By staying ahead of the curve, you'll be better equipped to provide high-quality services and stand out in the crowded freelance marketplace. Leverage the Power of Networking: Building strong professional relationships can be a game-changer for your freelance business. Actively engage with fellow freelancers, industry experts, and potential clients through networking events, social media groups, and professional associations. By fostering connections, you can gain referrals, collaborate on projects, and unlock new opportunities that may not have been possible otherwise. Optimize your Time Management Skills: Effectively managing your time is crucial to maintaining a healthy work-life balance and ensuring productivity. Experiment with different time management techniques, such as the Pomodoro Technique or time blocking, to find what works best for you. Setting clear boundaries, establishing a schedule, and avoiding multitasking can significantly improve your efficiency and client satisfaction. Prioritize Self-Care and Well-being: Freelancing can be demanding, and it's easy to get caught up in the hustle. However, neglecting your well-being can lead to burnout and negatively impact your work. Make self-care a priority by setting aside time for relaxation, exercise, and hobbies. Remember, a healthy and refreshed mind can produce better quality work and maintain long-term success. By implementing these often overlooked strategies, you can elevate your freelancing career and set yourself apart from the competition. 8. Hey there! It's great to hear that you've been getting messages from new buyers lately, but I understand your concern about your impressions and clicks decreasing. While it's not uncommon for impressions and clicks to fluctuate over time, it's still important to understand what might be causing this change. One possibility could be that your recent updates to your gig information may have affected your rankings in the Fiverr search algorithm. It's also possible that there's more competition in your category, which could be affecting your visibility in search results. To address this, you could consider tweaking your gig description or keywords to better reflect the services you offer and improve your ranking in search results. Additionally, you could consider reaching out to previous clients for feedback or asking for reviews to help boost your visibility on the platform. It's also worth noting that the Fiverr platform is constantly evolving, and there may be other factors at play that are affecting your impressions and clicks. Overall, I'd recommend keeping an eye on your metrics and continuing to adapt and improve your gig as needed. Good luck! 🤞
  9. Hey there! It's understandable to feel concerned if you haven't heard back about your Fiverr Pro application after a month. However, it's important to keep in mind that the review process can take some time, and there may be a high volume of applications for them to go through. If you're feeling unsure about the status of your application, you can reach out to Fiverr's support team and ask for an update. They'll be able to check on the status of your application and provide you with any information or feedback. In the meantime, keep working on your craft and improving your skills! Building up a strong portfolio and reputation can help increase your chances of being accepted into the Fiverr Pro program or attracting more clients on the platform. Don't give up, and keep putting in the effort! 💪
  10. Hey there! I totally get how you're feeling right now 😔 It can be tough when you're not getting any orders for your new product business. But don't worry, there are always ways to improve and get back on track! One thing to keep in mind is that starting a new business takes time and effort, so don't get discouraged if things aren't taking off right away. It's important to keep searching for new opportunities and ways to improve your business. In terms of which products are currently selling well for graphic design, it's always a good idea to do some research and see what's popular in the market right now. Some suggestions could be social media templates, custom logos, or digital illustrations. Remember to stay positive and keep pushing forward! 🚀
  11. It can be stressful seeing your gig impressions drop, whatever the reason may be. However, by the sounds of things you have made a change to your gig, fiver will rank your gig higher based on your gigs metrics Check this post out for my views on this. Making a change to your gig does throw a spanner in the works. As I explain on my other post, Fiverr too are running a business, so they need to ensure that they are ranking those that are able to bring more business by providing an excellent service at the top. If you continue to provide an excellent service, the customers are happy, so they will increase your rankings, so on and so forth. When you make a change to the gig, Fiverr doesn't know how well the gig will perform now, whether the service will change, what you will do differently, so the metrics will be impacted in the short-term. However, it is fully recoverable in time. My gig was averaging 30,000 impressions a month, I made a few changes and it dropped below 100 in the last 30 days. All you will need to do is maintain your high-quality gigs performance, ensure that your buyers are leaving happy and you will bring your gig back up the ranking.
  12. Gig Ranking in a nutshell You have to remember that Fiverr is running a business just as we freelancers are, the gigs that show up on pages 1 and 2 are important for their business due to the sales that us freelancers are able to provide. So they reserve these spots for the following: High performance gigs (High CTR & Impressions) High return rate (Buyers keep on coming back) High quality gigs (# of orders along side rating) Editorial Picks (The editing team love the look of your gig) Your gigs are monitored daily by Fiverr's automated systems, it checks your gig metrics from the amount of impressions to the amount of gig clicks. To ensure that you are ranking higher on the pages, be active, responsive and above all... offer a High Quality Service as this is your fastest way to the top. If you are offering your buyers the best possible service, and they give you a great review, an amazing rating and end up coming back to fiverr for more purchases... then its a win-win for everyone... Fiverr get more business, you get more business and the customer is always satisfied. These are the gigs that will be ranking first, as it will drive business all-round. I hope this helps.
