  1. If you are not getting any order for a long time then it might also mean that your service is not in demand at the moment. You should do a thorough research on the platform and find out what is in demand. Also, you can try to experiment with your gig parameters. Like change the gig description, add an eye catchy image, or write out the FAQs. Thanks.
  2. There is a search bar at the top right corner of the forum where you can search for anything you are looking for. There are lots of high quality articles throughout the forum. I suggest you look for those articles to help you. You should be patient because it takes time to get your first order. In the meantime consider learning the skills of your trade. Hope this helps!
  3. Firstly, optimize your profile and make sure that it is complete. Use a good looking profile photo. Write eye catchy description and showcase your skills and experience. After you publish a well optimized gig, market the gig using the URL of your gig. You should try to bring new customers on the platform. There are many places where you can market your gig. One excellent place is LinkedIn. When more clients place orders on your gig, then your gig will 'rank'. Hope this helps!
  4. You need to explain novice users how to get around the platform. Maybe they are first time buyers and don't know where to put the feedback. Next time, as soon as they make similar mistakes, politely ask them to make the correction. I don't what they wrote but maybe they wanted to leave a personal message intentionally in your inbox. Hope this will help you.
  5. There is a new feature from Fiverr called Paid Consultations and it is available to most sellers now. You can set up a consultation video call meeting from your Seller Profile. Now you can easily connect with the buyers and even charge money for your time. Thanks.
  6. There is no 'rank' system in Fiverr. To get your first order you need to create a properly researched and SEO optimized gig with catchy thumbnails. Ofcourse, there should be demand for the service you offer. Lots of articles were written on this topic before. Please go thru them. Thanks and best wishes.
  7. From my experience and what I have learnt from others on and off the platform, it shouldn't have any effect on the other gig. However, keep in mind that there are updates throughout the website regularly and many things can change. Optimizing the gig description is something that many people should do to improve the quality of the gig description and also add or change the service offerings. There is no need to worry about this. Thanks for reading.
  8. They are talking about gig marketing. You bring in only those clients who need a secure platform for their work. If you have an old client or someone who is comfortable working outside, then it is not necessary to bring them here. However, when you are marketing your gig then those new clients will want to work through a platform because they don't know you personally. Thank you.
  9. There are so many things that are at play here. For instance, your niche determines the "demand and supply" for your category of gig. For high demanding gigs it takes a short time to get your first order. You need to create a seo optimized gig with a great description, engaging gig image and usong proper tags to increase your chances. Usually gigs which have catchy images have more clicks and hence more orders compared to ones that don't. Thank you.
  10. I know about this game that my baby cousin used to play. It is called Plants vs. Zombies. I think 7 year olds will love to play this game because it is so simple to play. Try it! However, there are educational games too which are also great. Solving puzzles, word games and color sorting games should be on your list as well.
  11. There are some sections of the text in the Terms Of Service and Community Standards page that are are a bit ambiguous. If those specific sections can be elaborated then it would be beneficial for some people. Maybe these two pages can be popped up on the profile page for the new sellers since so many are unaware of their usefulness. I understand that it is actually their duty to check out the rules first. I am just giving a suggestion since many people are not using the site properly and this indirectly harms the honest and hardworking sellers. Thank you.
  12. I would like to add some more reasons in addition to the ones above: late replies poor reviews staying inactive on the platform for long time
  13. Welcome back to Fiverr! It is good to see you after a long time. I hope that you have a great time here and that you can quickly get back your Fiverr search visibility. Looking forward to learn from each other and be mutually beneficial. Regards!
  14. I don't think it is possible. Changing the currency will just make the price an odd number like 8.40 or something. You will not get a round number unfortunately for non USD currencies. Most buyers viewing the website sees it like USD, so it is better to keep it in USD. I know that in EU they see the price as Euro and so the $5 that I have set is seen as an odd numner to them. There is nothing I can do about it. Thanks.
  15. I don't think this will happen any time soon. There are more than 150,000 sellers who offer logo design services. If Fiverr wanted to put a cap then they would have done it already in this category. There are many fields where there are not enough sellers too. Too many players bring more competition I guess, so it is good from Fiverr's perspective. Thank you.
  16. I think you should read the Fiverr Terms of Service and the Community Standards to know exactly what they allow on the platform. What you have asked is a bit tricky topic. I can understand why you are confused. The best thing that you can do is be very careful about your interactions with your clients. I strongly recommend that you contact Fiverr Customer Support and ask them how to go on about it. Ask them for explanations so that you know exactly what to do. I hope this helps. Thanks.
  17. Definitely yes. Why would you think otherwise? You can create multiple gigs under the same category that offers unique service.
  18. Sharing contact information is against Fiverr Terms of Service. I strongly advise that you refrain from doing that. It can get you in trouble. There is a video chat option in the Fiverr's messaging page. Please use that if you have to talk to your buyer. Thank you.
  19. You had the same problem last year at this time. Now, again you are facing the same issue. What did you do last time that solved your problem? Why are those solutions not working now? You must have got orders during the last 12 months. I think if you work on those you will get your answer. Thanks.
  20. Hey there, I understand your frustration about this. It can be so confusing to understand how the algorithm thing works here. Maybe there's too much competition in your category. Did you get any negative reviews recently? Because that has a huge impact on your gig. Also, there are private feedbacks where clients can leave some unpleasant reviews. If you lower prices too much, it may have a negative impact on your gig. Best of luck!
  21. Here are some things that can help you get over the slump: 1.) Promote your services outside of Fiverr - You can use Quora and other platforms to showcase that you are an established freelancer. 2.) Offer incentives like discounts - You can offer big discounts like the way I did. There is a lot of competition out there. You just cut the price at the beginning. After you gain momentum, you can increase your prices. 3.) Only deliver great quality work - The reason is, there are private reviews done by clients. A client may give you a 5 star review on your profile but leave a lower star review during the internal feedback. I hope this helps you.
