  1. If you find the fee too much and want to bring a valid argument on why it should be lower that's great. What fee do you think Fiverr should take from you instead of the 20% and why? Also, no one is forcing you to accept the said fee. You can open your own website and take full profits at any time. Fiverr provides a platform for freelancers to offer their services to buyers worldwide, and the platform invests heavily in marketing, customer service, and infrastructure to ensure a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers. Have you ever wondered how well you think you would do and how much would you have to invest in ads to bring sales to your website? On Fiverr, you at least have the luxury to open shop for free and see if sales come through. In the business world, nothing is free. You would have to advertise your business with no promise of sales. It is not uncommon for businesses to waste 1000$+ budgets on advertising and get no/bearly any sales in return.
  2. I think you might be looking at the issue wrong. First, you know the rules. Fiverr can't guarantee sales, clicks, etc. Secondly, if your position is exactly the same. It might just be the market trends. Check keywords traffic on Google, for example, some keywords are known to bring in 10,000 visitors per month or more for the first position website. But that doesn't mean that they always will. That's just an estimation based on past performance. Any time a keyword or market trend can drop or rise in search volume.
  3. @michmikaia I believe this feature was also being abused. Many sellers had their accounts banned or had poor reviews. They would collect new buyers via this feature knowing exactly what a customer would expect from them. But many of them were falling back on the same patterns of poor deliveries and misleading people.
  4. It's refreshing to see other sellers keeping it real. Really brings hope when there are professional people here striving to deliver quality to their customers. I am saying this because I am a bit irritated by the recent events on Fiverr in the past few months where it seems a drop in views was experienced across the platform. But I am seeing improvements both from the management side as well as real professionals being promoted. What bothered me the most was the top client's feature. Where suddenly everyone seemed to work for Nasa, Tesla, and YouTube. Of course, the whole platform's credibility is at stake. How will buyers take a seller seriously when some lie about their work experience? Fiverr is not here to hold your hand in making sales. There are a lot of ways they do help you and you have a lot of guides published. @tareksydur you state you are a lead generation expert. I'm giving you honest feedback. As a buyer, I would not feel inclined to purchase your services as you have no reviews. Rather you focus on promoting yourself and bringing in a few sales and reviews. You might be surprised by the outcomes. I think buyers appreciate a person calling himself an entry-level or having a passion for providing a service and being willing to learn and deliver results rather than a self-proclaimed expert that can't tie two words together.
  5. Indeed. Coupons and more recently the first-time buyer offers should really offer an advantage in a competitive niche. If you already have a steady flow of orders and returning buyers adding these features can only boost your sales and customer loyalty.
  6. For me, it depends on the customer's needs. In some situations designing the template from point 0 is the best approach. However, quite often, buyers already have an idea of the designs they enjoy. They bring their own frameworks that they want to be customized. I believe you shouldn't focus on only 1 path. Website design consists of multiple technologies and frameworks. If you get accustomed to building layouts from scratch only, you might have a hard time when someone wants you to customize something you haven't seen before. Same, building websites from templates only can make you miss the fundamental understanding of how a well-performing layout should be built.
  7. I also find it a bit strange. When they removed the feature the whole idea was that it will all be automated and you will receive requests from Fiverr that fit your services. I only received a few after they implemented the system. Most of them were poorly chosen and then they stopped sending requests altogether. I haven't received any offers for months now.
  8. I am very happy I've gotten the chance to test the program. It's not always about the number of sales. You get to experience cool new features that could help you get more sales. Of course, at the end of the day, it all depends on how well you sell yourself as well as the other factors that you can't control such as the general market trends and economy.
  9. Here is my view, it looks fine so I think it's just cache related!
  10. I had a similar issue and CS helped me with it but this was before this new framework that gigs have. In your case if you adjusted the image to the recommended size. It could also be cache related. Have you tried browsing via an incognito tab or clearing your cache?
  11. I think part of your issue comes due to the nature of the services provided. I've also done a test run with off-page SEO services. While most of my buyers of this specific service were pleased. It's hard to get new buyers to come in. Many buyers on Fiverr(and people in general) want results today. While link building and off-page SEO take weeks/months to take effect and even then you can't really make any guarantees on their rankings. Hard to get a small business owner attracted to that offer.
