A buyer with FB <10 wants me to purchase a report on a site called checkpeople.com. Before I even get the price, they want me to enter a little personal information which is fine, but I decided not to do it. I sell genealogical services and have not had to purchase reports/records for people as of yet. In this case, I told the person no and they were a little pushy saying they needed to get it for their mom. Either way, I do not want to take the chance with a newer buyer, purchase a report that is probably at least $79 and I would have to charge more to net the $79 which may not even be within TOS and then have to wait for my money for two weeks as I am not seller plus and risk the fact they might cancel. So, two questions: 1) Does the opportunity seem a little scammy? The buyer is in Hong Kong and did not give me a great reason when I asked why they could not purchase the report directly 2) Going forward, is it within TOS for me to purchase a report or record on someone's behalf and cover my net costs by adding over 20% to net the cost of the document. Or, is it better to just provide the buyer the link to purchase directly.

This is my suggestion and you might still want to get others. I liked your gig and would hate to tell you to change much. Definitely look at what others are doing, all aspects. Have some SEO changes ready but maybe do a little, not all. You might need to go outside FIverr and talk about what you do. The pricing you offer seems reasonable for the entry level packages. But, you probably have lots of competition and need some ways to stand out. LinkedIn would be a good place to not necessarily put your links there, but in your profile and then talk about what you do and how it benefits your customers and drive conversations and engagement. Hopefully, the conversations turn into conversions. It takes time. I find I get 1-3 DMs per day there. I personally do not like them but some are successful with that approach. Facebook groups too if you can find any that do not have spammy posts.

I was getting orders. Yes, I have two gigs that do not have a good image. I am going by the overall pattern change. I was getting messages from a new person every single day for about two weeks. I believe I was on page one, top row at that point. Now, I believe I am on page one 2nd row. The clicks pattern has not changed. The traffic increase is almost as if there is a bot involved. If, by chance, clicks divided by views is part of the algorithm, that could be affecting me in some way, but there is nothing in the alogrithm that would change whether someone messages me. No changes have been made to my pricing. I did change the delivery date for the 2nd and third package by one additional day.

Suggestion : Inbox Buyers Special Notes on right side
minordetails replied to rizwan14321's topic in Fiverr Excel
I use the labels and have been from the start. And, maybe I am small enough that my short term solution works, but I manage my inquiries in Google docs. Then, I created a drop down which has similar categories I have for labels. But, it helps me to prioritize follow ups. I only have 10 completed orders at this point, but my repeat potential is extremely high. So, I need to stay on top of those and if someone does an inquiry and I do not close and it is a good fit, I need to follow up. The good news is I could put notes there or comments. Google docs is still not a solution as in my case, I would like to date the notes. So, I am considering Trello as it is free and I have used it in the past. I am already using it for jobs in progress and created a checklist so I follow certain steps in the customer journey. -
I briefly looked at a couple of the gigs. I thought they were well put together. So, my thinking is to do a competitive analysis within Fiverr. Take a step back and become the buyer of your particular service. Take keywords the buyer is looking for and make sure you come up in the search but then who else does and how do they compare in every aspect. You could also use "People Who Viewed This Service Also Viewed" when you scroll down through the gig. Also, do you have FAQ's in your gig's? I checked two and did not see them. That might be something to add. Also, monitor your views, click's, inquiries. If you have a decent amount of inquiries where you were close and did not close, maybe go back and try and close those people somehow.

I think my situation is different and maybe should be in separate thread, but I still will contribute here. Let me start with my views have jumped on one particular gig from an average of about 175 to over 400 the last few days. But, no new orders created in about 10 days. I completed 2 within a 24 hour period. One left feedback, the other sent me a nice message but did not leave feedback. I turned on my auto reply one time, then turned it off. I do not think I have had a new inquiry in 5 days. The inquiries are the strange thing and I wondered if it had something to do with getting messages and not converting, or the increase in traffic without a conversion. I have 10 completed orders and no level yet. I also have a larger pending $ relative to $ available.

If they are fake, what is it they are trying to accomplish? Get a delivery and cancel the order? And, how do you make a decision to accept an order from someone that does have a new account. I had one and it turned out fine. But, still curious how others address this.

Conversations - How to create new row without pressing ENTER key

Thanks. I had looked this up in the past and completely forgot that. -
I ended up accepting the order. I saw what they received and what they gave. I documented the custom order well. The buyer did prefer to speak outside of the order as they do not get notifications within the order which seems fine to me unless it is not in compliance. I am not sure where to find that in the rules.

Thanks. And, I know how to do the profile and could not think that through. Well, I did it, and the feedback left is ok, but they are two years old and the person I am dealing with seems to be in their 90's. Something still feels off but I cannot think of a reason to not accept the order. It is less than $100.

I received an inquiry with a .pdf document regarding potential research on a Jewish genealogy project. All the messaging seems fine. The questions all fit with what I do. The user profile is form 2019 and from India. The profile is a buyer so feedbacks are all 5 and I think the feedback count is 5 with 2 different users repeating. I could not find a way to see what feedback the buyer left for others.

I had a repeat buyer where something came up and I am just curious how I would handle this if it were to escalate. Just to be clear, the order has been completed but I am asking the question to gain from others experience. I had a project where with a few hours left I sent a question to the buyer only to learn they no longer needed the small project. I replied with how much time I had into the hours of research and that I would deliver the job and owe them. So, the questions that came to mind are as follows: 1) Once a transaction is delivered, can I refund part without causing an issue. I prefer to keep things as clean as possible 2) Is there anything that I should have done differently or could have? There is no liability on my part to complete anymore time as it was balanced out the following day. Appreciate the feedback. Dean

That might be true. But, you do have the ability to put your Fiverr profile link in your Fiverr Forum profile. When someone asks about someone asks for feedback on a gig or their profile it sure makes it easier than copying pasting the forum profile name and pasting it into Fiverr.

I did receive an option for briefs I guess today. I do not remember seeing it there before. When I go to My Businss> Gigs I see the Get briefs and Accept custom orders buttons. For briefs, there is a place to "set a rate". I set it for $.01 but who knows if that will do anything. I just tried it as there was no other help note letting me know what to do. I would be open to input from anyone else who has used it and what the impact would be from filling in any amount.
