  1. As a voice over artist on the platform I wholeheartedly support this suggestion. The term “commercial” is misleading to buyers and often results in confusion and frustration. The less friction from conversation to order placement, the better our conversion.
  2. There are a lot of factors to having your gig rank high in search results. Most of those factors are unknown to us sellers. The best thing you can do is keep your Response Time good, your Order Completion high, and your reviews high. Focus on Customer Service and producing a great product. Even when you do all this you will still fluctuate in the gig algorithm, but it's best to focus on what you can control. Best of luck!
  3. Wonderful, insightful post Frank. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us! And thank you for steering me to this Forum in the first place! Much appreciated. Emily
  4. These are very nice thoughts and insights. Thank you for sharing.
  5. It can take a while to get your first order. Make sure you are competitively priced and be patient. Don't become discouraged, it took me 2 weeks to get my first order.
  6. Take a look at your gig and compare it to successful sellers in your category. Notice what some differences may be and improve your gig to match other sellers in your category.
  7. I don't get enough work on fiverr yet to be full time. I tend to get more orders Tues-Friday. I work for 2-3 hours in the morning and then 1-2 hours in the afternoon.
  8. I had my gigs active for 2 weeks before my first orders.
  9. Contact CS, if the buyer in nonresponsive the cancellation will not affect your your statistics, CS will remove the negative mark from your statistics.
  10. When I was eligible for a portfolio, Fiverr sent me an alert letting me know and then I was able to create one.
  11. Make sure your gig title matches what people are searching for and then your tags are matching what people are searching for as well.
  12. I took a look at your gig and I would consider hiring someone on fiverr to re-do your gig images, they are too busy looking, and this may be why you are not getting clicks. Maybe do some keyword research as well to see if you can get better tags on there.
  13. Super interesting and insightful post! Thank you for this.
  14. I can see why you would feel concerned, it must be discouraging. Hang in there.
