  1. I never found Duolingo as an useful resource. When I started to learn German, I found myself knowing vocabulary but having no idea of how to build a sentence to use it 😂 Duolingo is fine for vocabulary but nothing else. It's just my opinion, of course.
  2. Being in need is the best teacher you can have for almost everything. In my case, playing videogames only in English since I was a child helped a lot, because if I wanted to play them I needed to understand dialogues, descriptions, etc. Also, speaking with people who didn't speak Spanish was helpful. I used to participate in forums and webpages like Deviantart (aaah... the good times) and I found myself lacking the skills to comunicate as well as I do in my native language. So, once again, one hand on the computer and another one on the dictionary 😂 Having fun and being motivated is a must. If you take it as a game, then learning will be easier.
  3. I have different music lists on spotify depending on the mood I need. Sometimes I am too anxious for any reason, so here I go with celtic or chill out music. Sometimes, I need a bit of enery, so I use my heavy metal or postpunk list. But, to be honest, music is mainly for a good walk or doing stuff out of home. At work, I prefer podcasts and radio. I am madly in love of podcasts, I even colaborate on one. I can spend 6 hours listening to a group of people analyzing and talking about a netflix serie and feeling surrounded by some kind of friendly company while working. (In case you have a fav podcast to share, I'm all ears XD)
  4. I saw on my first gig (well, I'm new here, this is my second day) 40 previews, only 2 clicks, 0 sells. Is it normal? Where can I see an article talking about rations and all? There are a lot of information on fiverr and I am still getting used to it, there's a lot to read 😂 (though it's super funny and interesting to do) Thanks!
  5. Ugh, that's a bit scary though I'm afraid you are right. By now, I can only cross my fingers. Thanks a lot for your help 😁
  6. From what I read before joining, the recomendation was starting cheap, yes, and increase prices little by little. I don't know if that's best, but it seems it's something common in Fiverr, like some kind of unspoken rule. In my case, my first gig is something easy. This way I feel fair charging a lower price for this service.
