  1. 😂 sorry, I meant to write it to user whianem
  2. Well, if it's working for you, then it's great! But you should be careful about these👇 kind of buyers who will lower your gig rank (or something like that) I hope soon you'll start getting the real worth of your art 🌸
  3. I agree, sadly in my case there are a lot of illustrators/artists on the platform, it's so difficult to get an order for me right now. I think I keep the prices acceptable at the moment but I'm scared I'll attract "bad" buyers if i reduce it more than this... It is so much better for sellers to know the worth of their work but some people are unfortunately selling so much cheaper than their work's worth on the platform, probably to have more orders at the beginning. But in my opinion they got lost in all those $5 gigs.
  4. That's a great point actually. (Not socially-anxious friendly though 😅) I was trying to improve my video editing skills for this, now I will consider showing my face in videos then. Thanks for the great advice. That's the way I plan to do in future. I only need a little starter boost, still working on it with portfolio, video, cover photo edits etc. I also need to search the market which I haven't pay attention enough yet. Another good point! Thanks again, have a lovely day.
  5. Creators, be good to your brain and get your sleep 😄
  6. Hi, thanks for the advice. I think that's a very useful one. I tried to do that. About posting, do you mean to post on gig portfolio or on the forum? I actually tried to add portfolio to one of my gigs but the size was too much more than the limit 😅
  7. Hi, thank you for the detailed explanation. That exactly what I did 🙂
  8. Okay, then I need to change the videos. Thank you for your help. I think fiverr needs to let us choose what will be our thumbnail...
  9. Hi, everyone. I am an artist and I added videos to my gigs, but I realised on mobile, my gig thumbnails become the video's thumbnail. I want to set the primary photos as the gig thumbnail. But I couldn't find a way to do it. Is there a way to change the thumbnail to my primary photo back, or the only way would be adding primary photo to video an set that frame as the preview? Waiting for your answers.
  10. Omg thank you for the kind words 🙃 Keywords, I need to go through them once more, thanks for the advice. I re-edited my gigs now, I still have cheap pices but not 5 dollars any more. I realized only scam bots are interested in 5-dollar gigs hahhaha Thanks again for your kind words, have a nice one!
  11. I love that this is also a good advice for the sellers. As a newbie myself, I realised not giving much attention to the descriptions is not wise. I was also planning to keep the prices too low so that people would prefer my service. But lower prices might leave an impression of poor quality. Thank you, I will go and edit my gigs now. 👋
  12. I usually have problem with the background and colours 😭 thank you very much!
  13. You're right, having many clients might not always be that great. And I don't think I can handle bad buyers 🥺 Thanks for the great advice, I appreciate it. I hope I can succeed this way, Have a lovely day!
  14. 🤔 Great question, it just a thing I do lately so the illustration could stand out from the background. I still have to practice color theory 😅
  15. Oh, is it normal that I am flattered by your comment hahaha I do draw from scratch, maybe I should add a process video to make it clear. Thank you
  16. Thanks everyone for answering. I am also planning to start from $5 to have more clients but I doubt it's working for me. I somehow agree with @sunysuny998 on this, I add my illustrations to show the quality of my work but I don't know if they are convincing people that I am not doing $5 worth work. (I also get too many spammer especially about translation gigs). But I don't know how else I would attract them since my social media accounts aren't popular enough to get clients from. Waiting for more opinions on this, Everyone have a great day.
  17. Hi everyone. I am new to the platform. I actually had another account for a few months but I had to change the username. Anyway, I never made any sales yet. I am an artist and I offer illustration gigs. At first I had started with the prices which was deserved in my opinion. After a few months, I got no clients. Then I thought if it's better to start cheap then as I make sales I can increase the price later. Do you people think it is a good strategy? What advice you can give to me about being recognised in the platform, and at least make first sale?
