  1. 2022 here (almost 2023), and this is still a bit of an issue. Created an account about a month ago, and receive one or more spam messages a day in my email. However, when logging in to Fiverr, none of these message are actually in my inbox, so that's actually not bad. It thus seems that Fiverr is able to detect the spam messages, but filters them after passing the message to you by email. The spam messages are very easy to detect, and, if Fiverr is listening, I'd have the following advice: * Move the spam detection to earlier in the process, if this means that messages are delivered later, then make it an optional setting (I understand that Fiverr can be a very competitive place, and that sellers would like to get messages as quickly as possible. But me and I suppose a lot of people rather have less spam and are okay with a delay of a few hours. * Make it harder to send out spam by adding more verification step, making it more costly for spam farms, and thus less lucrative for them. Just my two cents...
