  1. Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great 🙂 I just wanted to share my experience about my gig ranking and I hope maybe it will help to someone who is in same situation as I was. After some time and probably one or more bad review my gig ranking dropped low. I thought that it was over with my work as digital artist on this platform. Here is how I fixed it: I created instagram profile where I shared my gigs, posted my works and waited for people to come to me, and work with me on this platform. I also changed my gig (picture, keywords, description...). After that I got few customers and I gave my best while working with them. After that I got few great ratings and my gig ranking started slowly to rise. Now I got more exposure then ever, and I hope I will learn more how to keep things going as they are now. So to anyone struggling I hope this will help you and please don't lose faith 🙂 Have a nice day everyone 🙂 and happy international women's day 🙂
  2. Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great 🙂 Just wanted to see what are your thoughts about new level overview. In my opinion this is much better, because now you can easily see which gigs are good and which need more work to put in. What do you think? Have a nice day everyone 🙂
  3. Hi, maybe you should try something like this: change gig keywords, see which keywords buyers search for the most and also make sure that these keywords are relevant to your gig, make eye-catching gig image, be kind to your potential customers, try promoting your gigs, if you can pay for promotion then i suggest you to do it, or you can also share your gigs on social media. I hope this helps, have a nice day 🙂
  4. Hi, here are some tips for that, maybe it will help: focus on keywords, do some research and see which keywords fit the best for your gigs use eye-catching gig images use nice and simple gig description, but still describe your service in best way possible put lower price on your gigs, but dont worry you will be able to rise price, later give your gigs few weeks to see how these changes will affect them I hope it helps, have a nice day 🙂
  5. I promote my gigs on instagram, I am not sure if thats 100% best platform to promote your gigs but i got few customers on fiver by promoting it on instagram. 🙂

    Help

Hi, welcome to Fiverr 🙂 About improving your gigs, here are some tips: Try looking for sellers in same category as your gig, so you can see how your gig should look like, how description and packages should look like and more Focus on keywords and see which one fits your gig the best Use eye-catching and creative images for your gigs Try making as much gigs as you can ( for level one its 7 gigs max ) Be kind to your customers and be sure to understand what they want from you Wait for about one or two weeks to see how these changes will affect your gig I hope it helps, have a nice day 🙂
  7. Hi everyone, hope you are doing great 🙂 I saw a lot of people trying Fiverr for the first time, so in order to help you here are some tips for new sellers: First of all focus on writing your biography ( describe your experience in certain area, how many years did you work in that field, what do you love about your work) Make portfolio (especially if you are an artist). Showing portfolio will help customers decide whether they like your style or not, and of course, if they want to work with you. Make as much gigs as possible (in new seller level you can make 7 gigs) While making gigs, try searching for other sellers gigs which are similar to what you offer. That way you can see how you should create your gigs, of course dont copy others sellers gigs, but see how you should make gig and create maybe even better one. Try taking a test, so other people can see how much skill you got When you get your first order (and all other orders too) be kind to your customers, understand what they want, show them some kind of sketch, portfolio or anything else that will make them trust you. Offer gigs with small price, and dont worry as the time passes you will get more and more orders, so you can rise your prices later I hope this will help to new sellers. Have a nice day 🙂
  8. Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great. I had some problems with my impressions, so I will tell you my story how I got my gig impressions back, maybe it will help to some of you. I got one or two negative private feedbacks and that made my impressions go low. Here is how I fixed it: I made instagram account on which I promoted some of my gigs, and I got few customers there who made order on Fiverr with me Changed few things about my gig, keywords, description, main picture, lowered price of my packages Paid promotion of my gigs, as soon as I was available to do it Gave 100 % of myself in orders, even dough my prices were lower then usual Got few nice feedbacks from my customers And that's it, I actually got my impressions back in about 3 or 4 days after I made these changes. So to anyone struggling with the same thing, don't loose faith and use the time which you have to keep pracitising and be better at what you do 🙂
  9. This right here is a proof how fiverr works. You are literally a slave to your buyers, they can do whatever they want, threaten you, change agreed orders, ask for much more revisions then agreed, ask for deliver before agreed delivery time and if you do all this they will still give you bad review, if not public, then you will definitely get bad private feedback which is even worse. That how fiverr works, you have no rights here, but all you can do is listen to your buyer and work for low prices. Have a nice day and I wish you luck.
  10. Definitely right about this. If you give bad public review to buyer because he deserves it, he will definitely give you the worst imaginable private feedback. So dear sellers, thats how you are treated, you have to work hard, fight algorithm, work for vey low prices, and above all that you cannot give your honest oppinion about buyer. LOL Fiverr team really made this and thought they did something good.
  11. I can also think of only one logical reason why would seller get bad review. But again, there are people who give you completely different private and public reciew. They do that for fun, they dont care about giving you relatable private review, because you wont even see it.
  12. Buyer's request matched up all sellers on fiverr so not just the worst ones. And yes there were buyer requests for 5 dollars, but there were many much higher requests too, and if buyer wanted nice seller, he can easily just look at seller's level.
  13. Hi everyone, I would like to talk about Fiverr platform and changes on this platform which made this almost impossible for sellers to be successful, experienced and especially new ones. Maybe some of you won't agree, but let me continue. Here are some changes that made this platform worse: Removal of "Buyer Request" This option was THE ONLY option for new sellers to get some orders and reviews. I got 80% of job from this option and I know a lot of sellers who also got nice jobs by sending offers in Buyer request field. Why was this removed? Because of scammers who copy/paste their offers without reading buyer's request? If buyer thinks seller didnt read his request, then simply they could not answer them. Adding Private feedback option The worst decision ever. Also, whole algorithm depends on this, so this makes this decision even worse. The thing is, you can see private feedback which your buyer left you, so you actually cant see what bothers your buyer and what you did wrong in that order. Also, there are lot of people who will simply leave you bad private feedback, just for fun, even dough you did everything perfect and you got nice public review from the same people. Anyway, I am thankful for 2 years of experience which I got on Fiverr, but after you made all those changes, this became one very bad platform, where you compete with others, fight algorithm, deliver high quality work, give buyers more revisions then agreed, deliver finished work before delivery date, and all that for some very low price. I am very disappointed of what this platform became, but whatever, I know I will find some other places where they treat sellers better. But for all sellers on this platform, Fiverr should consider removing useless private feedback, bring back buyer request, stop making changes which put sellers in very bad positions, and generally, treat their sellers better. And for all buyers reading this, these are all the reasons why you will get cheap, and not high quality product. Because all prices are similar, cheap, and you cant easily find good sellers, because of algorithm. Have a nice day everyone
  14. That right, whatever you do, and no matter how good you are, fiverr can bring your gigs down to 0 impressions daily, which happened to me. If that happens to you too, forget about this platform, because you will have to do a lot of things so you could MAYBE rank your gig up again. Even if you rank it high back again, fiverr will still bring your gigs down again after few days.
  15. Yes, as you said private feedback can very different from public review. Its really funny decision to put private feedback and to make whole algorithm depends on this. Your WHOLE profile, which some people build for few years, every great review, every nice gig that you've made, depends on one single bad private feedback. LOL Fiverr really needs to understand that sellers are not robots but people, and if you do 100 orders, there must be at least one order which one of your buyers didnt like. What does fiverr do about those small mistakes? They remove your gigs from search.
  16. Maybe they gave you bad private feedback, like mu buyer did to me. let me explain something about private feedback: you cant see it, only buyer can see it. After you got bad private feedback, even dough you maybe dont deserve bad feedback, your gigs will rank down. So basically, private feedback is there to rank your gigs down, you cant see it, so you cant even know what mistakes you made, in order to not make that mistakes again. And, not to mention, there are people around here who would LOVE to leave bad private feedback, even if you did good job. Why? Well, why wouldnt they? No one will see that private feedback, it will destroy your business, and they badically have your business in their hand, thats how this works. Anyway, i am in same situation and i hope you will get your gigs ranked high again, all the best
  17. Finally, someone with clear answer. I dont have any orders now, because of algorithm and all this, so I cant prove that I can deliver nice, high quality work. So basically, as i see it, fiverr almost removes your gigs completely after you get one or two bad private feedbacks ( even dough in same cases its because of buyers not because of sellers ). But anyway, thank you for your answer, it helps me to understand everything. Tip for everyone: do not make offers with buyers that seem rude to you, i was selling on fiverr for 2 years, with awesome reviews, and because of one buyer ( who was rude, asked for more revisions then we agreed on, got design for lower price then mentioned in gig package ) i lose my gigs impressions. Funny thing is: i gave great review to this buyer, because i was scared he would give me bad private feedback, so basically on fiverr you MUST give your buyer great review, even dough its not what they deserve, because if you dont, they will give you even worse private feedback than they already did. LOL, have a nice day everyone
  18. Hi everyone, I know you've heard this many times here, but thats the main problem here. Deranked gigs, no impressions at all, for about 4,5 months now. The main question is this: How to rank your gigs back again, or fiverr simply doesnt allow any mistakes to sellers? I promoted my gigs already on social platforms (instagram), promoted gigs until it wasnt available anymore, changed gigs, keywords, title, SEO, waited for two weeks after these changes. So dont bother telling me all these things, i did all that, is there anyone who has the same problem? And is there anyone who could some answer to this? I am not optimistic about this at all, slowly giving up from this, but whatever, if you have some tips, feel free to write, thanks.
  19. Thank you very much for answers everyone ❤️ but, based on your answers, promoting gigs out of this platform won't help me a lot. I tried other things too, seller plus, coupons, changing gig, nothing helped. Private feedback is what is not okay at all, why? The answer is, if i give bad public rating to my buyer when they deserve it, they will definitely give me worse private rating, which will effect my profile, but way worse then it will efect buyer's profile. Evendough i had some really nice customers, i had few not so good (for example, i gave them more revisions then i promised, delievered them finished work before agreed day of delivery, because they were rushing me, i was nice to them even when they were rude for no reason, and more...), and guess what happens if i contact support because of this? They are telling me that i shoud give them more revisions then agreed, in order to get nice feedback. After i do that, and after i give buyer every single detail changed as they want, i got what? A bad rating. And again, i cant do anything about it, giving bad public rating to your buyer, will get you way worse private feedback from the same buyer. In the end, this is just not right. Have a nice day everyone
  20. Already did, i promoted them with instagram ads, nothing happened
  21. Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great. Here is my problem: My gig werent showing on pages at all, for 3 months, suddenly i got message that my gig are qualified and can be promoted again, so i paid promotion. It lasted for about 3 weeks, after that again, suddenly my gigs are not qualified anymore. Can someone explain to me these upsides and downs of my gigs, i got nice reviews all the time. I also created instagram page so i can share my gigs there. Also I see a lot of other sellers struggle with same problem, can someone explain to me this "unqualified" gigs? All in all, its all really frustrating, fighting for that first page and high ranked gigs but no one can actually tell what you need for your gigs to be qualified. Thank you Fiverr for 2 years of great experience, I really met and worked with some nice people here, but now this all goes down the hill. Worst of all is that you cant even do anything about this. I thought i can change something by creating page and sharing my gigs as everyone were saying, lowering prices, contacting my old customers, but this will not help you at all.
  22. Well, to be honest with you, i waited for 3 months, but thats probably because i didnt know what to do, i didnt promote my gigs on social media or contacted my past clients.
  23. I understand you, sometime people really dont understand what those actions can make for sellers profile. I hope fiverr support team can help you.
  24. Hi everyone 😊 I just want to give some tips to buyers which could be helpful. I've noticed that there are buyers who like to go straight to asking a price of some job they didnt even describe enough. For example: "I want 10 pages illustrated, whats the price? ", and after i ask them one or two more questions about what they want, they stop replying because i am being boring, i suppose. Please understand, You need to give nice description about what you want, that way you can get awesome work from sellers which will fit you, and it will be easier to work for both, buyer and seller. Have a nice day 😊❤️
