  1. If Fiverr's search function worked, then this likely wouldn't be an issue. It doesn't, so I can't search for clients or past orders... The expectation and onus to audit thousands of orders seem odd, especially when the verification company doesn't have access to our orders anyway to confirm or deny them.
  2. I personally worked with this seller and can absolutely recommend their services, from communication, attention to detail, and delivery including responding to notes. https://www.fiverr.com/intros_top/create-100-percent-unique-custom-intro-logo-animation
  3. Negotiating is about an alignment of values and making sure that both people come out ahead, including you. Sometimes that means that the best negotiation is in fact no negotiation. The buyer is never the problem...poor communication is the problem. Sometimes that problem is too big a hurdle to jump.
  4. Are your negotiation skills holding you back from having as much success as you could? Let's find out which stage you're at! 🧐 I went through all 3 (too long in stage 1, missing out on tons of opportunity) Freelancing and working on Fiverr is exciting, but did you know negotiations play a HUGE part in your success? It seems silly to say. Most people have no idea how much negotiations play a part. As you advance and grow, you go through three distinct stages. Here are the 3 stages of negotiation on Fiverr. 1️⃣ No negotiation: As a beginner, you might avoid negotiations due to fear. You view it as a battle scene where there are victors and losers. And you will do whatever you can to avoid conflict. When you’re afraid to talk about money, you don’t make any. The other end of the spectrum are those who do ZERO negotiations. “My rates are what they are, take it or leave it.” This is usually from a place of ego and lack of self-confidence. You feel your rates are a measure of your value. But because you don’t have confidence in your value, you aren’t able to have conversations about it. Don't let fear or ego hold you back! 2️⃣ Ruthless negotiation: Gaining experience, you'll negotiate hard. You realize that everything is negotiable. You then do everything you can to maximize outcomes for yourself in every situation possible. The problem is: You can sheer a sheep many times, but skin it only once. When you maximize your extraction, you end up straining your partners. You gain on some of your deals, but miss out in the long run. Despite good results, you're not forming good relationships. Everything is still a battle of wills. Remember, long-term relationships matter! 3️⃣ Relationship building: Now you’ve achieved mastery. You no longer have ego in every interaction. Your negotiations aren’t emotional reactions. You understand the importance of long-lasting partnerships. It’s no longer about needing to be the winner every time. You look at negotiations in a way to gauge what’s the best possible outcome for everyone from this? You learn that negotiation isn't a zero-sum game. A successful negotiation allows everyone to walk away better off than before, creating win-win situations. That’s the point. Master negotiators focus on win-win situations, building strong partnerships. That’s where you need to get. So, what stage are you in? Comment below with 1, 2, or 3! Knowing is half the battle – or in this case, negotiation! 😉 PS: What's your favorite negotiation trick?
  5. Great meeting everyone and Thanks to Yoav for putting this together!
  6. You're right, @vickieito Cold messaging asking for referrals is the worst way to go about it. Always look at it from a perspective of adding value. "I just helped you solve this problem...I'm sure I could help you or someone you know solve another problem" When you do it cold, you're value sucking. You're saying "I have a problem...I need more work and I need YOU to solve that." Doesn't work
  7. Yes, under promise and over deliver is key to this working. Two ways to get more business, sell more to existing clients, or sell to more clients. I was suggesting a great way to find more clients. But thanks so much, you brought up the core way that makes it work!
  8. That's a great tip and thanks for sharing! While it's a helpful workaround, it's quite limited and doesn't fully address the concerns raised. As sellers dealing with a high volume of buyers, we need a more efficient way to manage and retain vital information (e.g., names, project details, upsells, cross-promotions) for each client. Sorting hundreds of conversations using labels can become overwhelming and is not a feasible long-term solution. Even with sorting, you'd still have to review and refer to all the previous conversations to catch up anyway. This improvement could even be offered as a perk for Seller Plus members. While I appreciate your current workarounds, I look forward to the possibility of a more effective and streamlined messaging system that caters to the diverse needs of Fiverr sellers. Best regards, David Piper midsummervoice
  9. What's the easiest way to get more business? Just Ask for It! 🔑 One simple, yet powerful way to grow your Fiverr business is right at your fingertips. Asking for referrals from current and past clients. Why referrals? 🤔 ✅ Referrals are reliable and they work ✅ Buyers already know they like working with you ✅ They don't cost anything! How can you start asking for referrals? Here are some tips: 1️⃣ Be confident and direct: Be Brave. Remember, if you've done great work for your clients, they'll likely be happy to refer you to others. People like being helpful 2️⃣ Timing matters.: Ask for referrals when the project is either 70% done, or complete. You want to ask when they are at the happiest in the process. 3️⃣ Make it easy for them: Give a message to share. Creating an easy template makes the work easy for your client to pass it on, and doesn't create extra work for them. Include your gig link and portfolio to share. 4️⃣ Show gratitude: Thank your clients for their referrals. Consider offering a small incentive to show them you appreciate it. Surprise and delight at every chance. Ask for referrals. Open new doors. Watch your Fiverr business grow. David Piper midsummervoice
  10. Hi Trevor, You've brought up a great point about making changes to multiple gigs at once. It can be time-consuming to update each gig individually, and I agree that a more convenient way to manage common settings would be helpful. I like your idea about being able to set a standard delivery time for all gigs at once. It would definitely make it easier to manage our schedules when we're away or need extra time. Fiverr helped a lot with the "Set Availability" feature, but it would be great to expand it to assist in communicating with customers. Your suggestion about updating pricing for multiple gigs at once is excellent. A list with checkboxes would make it simple to choose the gigs we want to update, and then we could apply the new base price to all of them with just one click. These ideas could help sellers save time and manage their gigs more efficiently. I hope other Fiverr users can share their thoughts, and maybe we can work together to suggest these improvements. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! David Piper midsummervoice
  11. As a voice-over service provider, I would like to gather feedback and suggestions from fellow professionals in our field on an issue I believe could benefit from improvements on the Fiverr platform. The current terminology surrounding the "Commercial Voice-Over License" has led to confusion and friction between buyers and sellers, and I think a simple change in language could help streamline the process for all parties involved. The term "Commercial" is commonly associated with "Advertisement," causing confusion when buyers learn that the Broadcast license is the appropriate choice for audio deliverables used in advertisements. This has led to an additional burden on sellers to explain that "commercial" refers to any business use, whether internal or external, rather than its traditional association with advertising. This then leads buyers to feeling bait and switched and that seller's are trying to create unnecessary upcharges when in fact they are just following Fiverr's terms and guidelines. This issue appears to be an oversight on Fiverr's part, and I believe many voice-over sellers and customer service representatives would appreciate a resolution to this recurring challenge. To address this confusion, I propose changing the term "Commercial License" to "Business License for Non-Broadcast Usage." This alternative terminology provides clearer guidance for buyers, sellers, and Fiverr staff alike, making the licensing process smoother and more efficient. I welcome any thoughts or suggestions from fellow voice-over service providers on this proposal. Together, we can help Fiverr improve its platform for everyone involved. Best regards, David Piper midsummervoice
  12. Bulk work on projects. Schedule tasks so that they can have your full focus and attention. Turn on auto message to let buyer's know you are busy with a client but they can leave info for what they are looking for and you'll respond as soon as you can. Raise prices. Half you day should be completing current work, and half should be spent on communicating future projects. If you're spending all your time doing projects, then you're demand indicates you should raise your prices. Create systems and templates you can setup to increase the efficiency of your workflow. Outsource projects or menial work whenever you can.
  13. Yes! I literally posted this same idea in a few threads below. It's so obvious I don't know why it's not been implemented.
  14. Fantastic! What part? I currently live In Alicante on the Costa Blanca, near Benidorm.
  15. With the issues of being even able to search orders still being buggy, not being able to search messages beyond username is frustrating. Most times, It's easier for me to search my email for order details than through Fiverr search. Buggy, and never works.
