    Wordpress is (probably) the most used platform for blogging but I tend to use Joomla. The reason is simple: I can develop Joomla extension more easily the Wordpress plugins. So, when I extend my website in one direction or another I can control the process better (and that should be the most important reason in choosing one's platform).

    It depends of the error. What does the error log file says? (you should have listed there all the errors)
