  1. Due to my situation, I want to temporarily suspend my Fiverr account for a couple of months. I don't want to lose my Gigs, which could happen if I suspend it for too long. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, if I can suspend my account, will this affect my Seller rating? Thanks
  2. Attn: Video people I'm trying to upload a 40 second long motion graphics sizzle reel to my Gig but Fiverr keeps kicking it back as over their extremely small 50MB limit (I guess they haven't heard of Vimeo embeds...). I can make it 720x480, but then it looks so bad I might as well not add it to the Gig. What render settings would you suggest?
  3. So it seems that they care more about their shareholders than the people who actually make them the money.
  4. The phone number on my account was changed without my knowledge, which to me means my account was hacked. So I sent a message to Support and marked it URGENT. That was over 15 hours ago, and I still haven't heard back from Fiverr. I have funds due to be released in the next couple of days and I'm extremely nervous that someone else could get them. Why is there no Chat option for help, especially when it comes to something urgent like account security?

    Soooo bad

Rant ahead (gotta vent)... I tried Fiverr years ago and gave up because I made no money and buyers wanted the world for nothing, ignored the Gig parameters no matter how specific they were, etc. I decided to give it another shot, and it's even worse than I remember. So far, I've had 1 Order for $300, of which Fiverr takes 20%, and the kicker is I won't even see that for 2 weeks because Fiverr holds it for 14 days (and makes money off of it I'm pretty sure). Because I screwed up (I admit it) and put Unlimited Revisions, I'm now at about $2/hour on this order because they're taking FULL advantage of it. A new wrinkle on Fiverr is how many scammers there are. EVERY day I get at least one scammer sending me a message. I learned a long time ago that the cheapest clients are the worst clients. FACT. And that seems to be all that's on this site. So, yeah, I'm tired of this site. Tired of the BS. Tired of the scammers. I might leave my account active, but I'll be spending my energy somewhere else until Fiverr does more to block the scammers and spammers, and when Buyers stop treating Sellers like cr*p.
  6. When I set up my Gig, I somehow set Revisions on my most expensive package to Unlimited. Not sure how it happened (maybe I was tired and it slipped by), but I'm paying the price now (I now have 15 versions of the video on my hard drive), and I'm making about $5/hour. Lesson learned. I'm going to be changing it asap. 2 things I learned a long time ago and this experience reminded me of (like a bucket of ice water to the face) 1. The cheapest clients are the pickiest clients and expect the world for nothing, so competing on price (like a lot of 5R "gurus" recommend for new sellers) is one of the worst things you can do 2. Unlimited revisions is the worst way to get business. It wastes your time and the client's time Sigh. Back to Revision Hell...
  7. I don't have 7 gigs yet, but I was hoping to get more inquiries than just spammers and scammers wanting me to download malware (and, honestly, I can't think of 7 gigs). I've reported them, but that's all I've gotten. Any hints on how to improve my chances at getting actual work (and stop the sc/spammers)?
