  1. I have been using Payoneer for 7 years, I and I was happy with the service until the war in Ukraine began. On March 21st, 2022, without any notification Payoneer withdrew all my funds. The total amount that I had on my account was US$ 1055. That amount is big for me to survive during the war that is currently happening in Ukraine (especially I have 2 minor age kids). On March 23rd, 2022, Payoneer blocked my account and froze the remaining funds, claiming that it had a potential connection to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, which recently come under sanctions by the EU and US Department of Treasury. I NEVER lived or even visited Donetsk or Luhansk. I have contacted Payoneer’s Customer Care and tried to solve the problem by giving them the best possible documents they wanted and explaining my situation as a refugee and mother of two young children. After three weeks of back-and-forth conversation via email with Payoneer’s Customer Care, Payoneer decided to disable my account permanently due to violating the company's terms and conditions! I was shocked. Beforehand, they kept repeating messages that Payoneer would return my money and reopen my account. This frustrating situation does not only happen to me. Some Ukrainians have been complaining in the Payoneer’s forum, stating that Payoneer accused them to live in Donetsk and Luhansk. Their accounts were blocked by Payoneer, and their funds disappeared. They also tried to contact Payoneer’s support, but their response is slow. I am experiencing war and sanction at the same time!

  3. It is safe. As long as you are working in different computer, different account and different payment account.
