Of course you can change it. There would only be problems if there are more than one of you working on Fiverr with different accounts using the same internet line. Especially if you are offering the same services.

If you mean you say one price that covers this amount of work (e.g. one level OR 10 characters, etc) but you charge differently when the buyer contacts you that is not okay.
Also $15 for 10 levels? With that kind of pricing it makes me wonder that you probably do charge differently when the buyer contacts you.
Study how your competitors have put up their gigs (don't copy of course) and you'll understand how to be more clear in your offering. I understand there are complex games but you have to be more transparent on what you're offering.

How will the buyer be able to accept it if you said it has expired? Also, don't the extension requests get automatically accepted already after 2 days (without buyer response)?

I love the spirit but you have to be honest about one of the gigs you are offering. Are you really an "experienced sports writer" -- as in you've been writing sports articles for years?

How long did you leave it after the change? It may take one to two weeks before you see any improvements. However, if you did wait it out without any good returns something else could have been causing the lack of visibility...

It's been like that for awhile. Someone had a good explanation to how it works but yes - that buyer will still appear under promoted even if they aren't ordering from scratch through the marketplace search.

If you think it's bad advice you could could make a site suggestion for Fiverr to change that part of the site or suggest it to CS or something.
But really it's not necessarily that low competition gigs will necessarily help more (and like I said previously you might need a high competition one too to make it clear what your gig is about eg. Logo if you gig is about logos), but it's more about the amount of buyer searches vs the amount of gigs (competition). But a lot of time it will be the lower competition gigs (less competition from other sellers) that will probably be worth creating a gig for (if someone has the skills). It's all about amount of demand from buyers and amount of competition from other gigs for it (and how evenly distributed among the gigs the buyers' orders are).
I feel like that concept only works well for Google search results. It does sound interesting in theory here on Fiverr, but to really succeed on Fiverr is basically to have good visibility for the main keyword you want to be found in. Of course with some exceptions, such as those that already have commanded some level of demand like minimalist logo, chibi cartoon, and other common 2 word combinations. Unfortunately, the keywords that work on Fiverr have already been established unless some new demand or trend is coming in then it would be best to hop on right away.

I'm not a logo maker but I have bought a service like this before - a social media kit would be your logo and branding in the right specification for the profile and cover photos for the major social media sites FB, IG, etc.
A good seller would have specifically mentioned somewhere on the gig what those inclusions are.

It's odd because it only applied (so far to what I've seen) to that one particular client I had. But I have clients of similar spend range that have their ratings at the normal 5.0... Haha!
