  1. Currently, if someone contacts me on my gigs and wastes my time, I really only have two choices to block them. I can mark them as spam or click the 'report' button, and this seems like it might waste the time of Fiverr support people who go to investigate. A seller should be able to block someone in the chat for no reason at all. For example, someone keeps sending messages to the seller hinting they plan to buy from the seller but also asking questions to solicit valuable information, at some point the seller feels like their time is being wasted. A seller can't 100% know the buyer is just spamming, or if the buyer is just working up to a scam. It seems completely reasonable for sellers to be able to block someone from interactive with their chat and gigs without having to assert wrongdoing. Please simply add a 'block' button that does not require Fiverr support people to have to go investigate, and allows a seller to avoid interactions that are not welcome.
  2. I get buyer's requests and almost never accept the work. Almost all requests ask for cheap prices and have big demands. Buyer requests are not always a real benefit. It's a good addition to your Fiverr business, but don't get too frustrated if you can't get those requests yet. It's not really a big deal.
  3. I fix WordPress websites after they have been hacked. There are hundreds of sellers that charge less than half my price, and I know they can't do the same level work. I totally understand what you are saying. How would the customer know? And many customers come to Fiverr because it is the cheap place to find help. So you worry that customers buy from the cheapest, even when you are better. Well, sometimes that's true, but don't let it frustrate you. Trust me when I tell you that you don't want the cheapest customers. They often don't leave tips. They often make unreasonable demands. ... It's just not worth it. I still get a lot of gigs and I often get gigs after someone went to a cheap seller and it didn't work out. The customer gives the cheap seller 5 stars anyway and then comes to me to do it the right way. It's not a perfect system for buyers or sellers. I still sell gigs. My advice is just set your price to what is fair for your actual time, and then focus on changing your ads until you find a good ad that compels customers to use your service. Don't worry about other sellers. Just do great work at a fair price and deliver more than you promise every time. Best of luck to you.
  4. ... re: the google text file.... look in the files area, usually the public_html directory or httdocs... wherever your main WordPress files are located.
  5. I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm a professional security pro. I suggest the following steps... 1. Change all your passwords. 2. Log into your hosting account and look for any text files that have the word google in them... it will look something like this: google8754475637.txt 3. Next, login to the google search console and claim ownership of your site. Use HTML validation and upload the HTML file to your website to confirm. 4. Once in control of the google search console, login to the console and click the link for delist and or removals. You will likely see your site has been delisted on request of the scammer. 5. Then request google reindex your page using the tool provided in the search console. 6. Clean your site of any viruses and check all the plugins and themes to be sure you own all the licenses in your name and everything is legal and up to date. 7. Contact Fiverr Support to complain if you find the delist in the google console. be sure to take a screenshot as evidence that the scammer abused your account. You were right to pay only via Fiverr. Keep all communication and money via the Fiver tools so that you have proof of everything and Fiverr will be fair with you. Best of luck to you. Feel free to consider my security gig if you need that kind of help. Have a good weekend.
